Littlebank Country House

Lovely stay. Richard the owner welcomed us as we arrived and showed us to our lovely room. Homemade cakes with the tea and coffee facilities and lovely china cups and saucers. Rooms were lovely with a cottagy feel. Place is quirky - breakfast room has collection of birdcages and they have a games room with a pool table and darts board with display of hats on the wall. Breakfast was gorgeous - plenty of food, puréed apples picked from their tree with yogurt, homemade jams and marmalade, eggs from their hens, delicious full English. We were there for the weekend as we were doing the Three Peaks Challenge and Richard and his wife Trish were just lovely - chatting to us about the Yorkshire Dales and telling us of places to visit. Richard even booked us into the pub for our meals and the food was so good we returned the next night. Lovely homely feel about the place. I will definitely go back.

The whole experience was top notch. The room, the small details and the cooked breakfast was out of this world. Hosts were so friendly and felt they really cared about their guests and their accommodation

Need a care ideal as quite out of the way but even then the host helped us out so can’t say it was a negative tbh

Amazing location. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast fist class. Overall perfect experience
