We enjoyed our stay at the black horse. It's a friendly family run pub that has excellent food and beer. The breakfast was especially delicious and the place has a pleasant atmosphere with a nice mix of tourists and locals in the pub. We ate here on two evenings and were very satisfied with the traditional food (with good portions) both times. Location is really handy for some excellent walks and picturesque scenery and it's just a short walk into Settle. I would highly recommend it.
If I was to be super critical the bed was a bit short for us but still slept well.
