Isolated on the rocks nice private beach

Wow , so many i dod not like, Rooms are OLD and look like hostel buildings, Breakfast is horrible, Staff specifically Rose and another lady are RUDE very bad attitude knows nothing about service. Daniel the manager doesnt care about the place everything is messed ip he justs sits in his room smoking cigarretes while all the reception is dirty and really unpleasent. Wrost place i stayed in thailand for sure.

Beautiful view, great snorkeling

Our room was generously spacious and comfortable. The view and the grounds are spectacular (for the guests who fear the stairs – the beauty of it all is worth a little effort, I promise). And the snorkeling! I got up close to a green turtle and a blacktip shark on my first swim out, and I'm just a novice. Our kid, snorkeling for the first time, swam with a crowd of rainbow parrotfish.

The vents on the AC were broken and couldn't be adjusted. A previous guest had tried a DIY fix and we did the same.

Don’t do your laundry here

The hotel itself it’s great, nice view and comfortable rooms

We gave them our laundry to be done and we ask for the express service, the laundry came back with a 6 hours delay on the promised time and most of my stuff was stained and or shrunk. The hotel has offered us the laundry for free but we still paid the restaurant tab (around 60 euros). I will probably have to throw away some shirts which are quite expensive. We would have appreciated the full tab to be wiped to make up for the damage but they just “offered” the laundry for free. Also the majority of the staff does not understand English and even when using google translate they did not understand the issue. This was an unfortunate incident which has ruined our opinion on the hotel.

Koh Tao is a jewel

Loved the amazing ocean view from our villa. The room was very spacious and comfortable.The nearby beach was a gem, tucked away from the crowds and so pretty. We enjoyed snorkeling, lots of fish though no turtles. We could also walk to other restaurants and explore Chalok Baan Kao bay.

The resort is on a very steep site so you must be prepared for lots of steps up and down. The free shuttle ride to the pier and Sairee beach would be a bit challenging for some. The roads are very steep and narrow and transport is the back of a Songthaew. There was some minor maintenance needed in the room.

Overall, the location was nice, but some service aspects need attention to match the expectations of guests.

The view is probably the best quality of this resort. The swimming pool is great and the small beach near the Resort is very nice for sunset. The bedroom is nice but be aware that we didn’t had any wifi in it.

We experienced a few disappointing situations with the reception staff during our stay. The woman at the front desk was quite unfriendly and unhelpful, asking us to look up all the information we needed ourselves (regarding snorkeling, the gym, beaches, etc.). When we had an issue with our booking, no one made an effort to assist us until the manager got involved. I’d like to sincerely thank him for finally providing a clear and helpful solution. On our last day, we dropped the key at reception for check-out, and once again, the same woman didn’t say a single word—not even a smile. A smile and a kind word go a long way, especially at the end of a guest’s stay. The restaurant was okay, but we felt the prices were a bit high compared to the quality of the food and service. Areas for improvement: • The reception staff could be more welcoming and better trained in customer service and local knowledge. • Guest concerns, especially related to bookings, should be handled more promptly without needing management intervention. • A more courteous and engaging check-out process would leave a better final impression. • The restaurant could either improve food quality or reconsider pricing to offer better value for money. Overall, the location was nice, but some service aspects need attention to match the expectations of guests

I enjoyed the location and proximity to the beach. The staff were excellent. Restaurant food and service were great. Room service staff was amazing.

Amazing views, located on cliff top so overlooks the sea. Private beach is beautiful. Great place to go snorkelling. Pool area is great for some afternoon sunshine. Sun is on pool all day. Shuttle service provided for collection from pier and return. Extremely helpful in arranging a moped for us. General Manager is top tier, very welcoming to his guests, and gave great advice on places to visit and see. Would recommend a moped or mode of transport as it is a little out of the way from restaurants etc.

A lot of steps from reception to your room. No elevator. Extremely difficult with heavy bags. Steep concrete steps, poorly lit at night which can be dangerous. Shower didn't work both days we stayed, quickly fixed but poor pressure from shower and sink.

Room itself was well equipped and comfortable and clean , From the balcony we could view the sea .It was just really relax and chill. This beautiful hotel was just perfect for our family. We hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Best hotel in Koh Tao

Everything! The place and views are GORGEOUS! The staff is amazing and Min at the reception Is the best! At first I booked for 5 days and just extended to another 4 because I don’t want to leave. The breakfast is amazing with the best pancakes I’ve eaten. Bedroom is cleaned everyday and they provide many amenities and even bathrobes! I love everything here and Koh Tao is the best island in Thailand so far. With pinnacle being the best hotel as well. Thanks for all!!

Very nice resort! View is amazing, we were in a Villa.. sunset from our balcony, open the eyes in the morning and first thing you see is the ocean.. what else? Staff is very welcoming, there is a good ambience. Breakfast is nice and really fulfilling, the lady does s great job! Scooter rental is right there. Below the resort there is a small calm and peaceful beach. They are reopening after 3 years, so there are still some small works going on here and there but nothing major that can affects you. Overall, super recommended!

First of all, this hotel is very different from other hotels from the beach. Because it’s elevated on the hill and situation away from the main tourist areas, the views are absolutely beautiful and the resort is peaceful. Secondly, the staff is very welcoming. They listen and try to work out any issues for you. Last, the room is very clean and spacious and comes with a nice balcony to watch the view.

It’s was quite sloppy but manageable. Car service by the resort. I cannot say this hotel is new but it’s kept in an OK quality. Some part facilities such as dive shop, pool bars are not open.

Hillside resort with beautiful views and steps

This resort sits on the quiet hillside location so the views are absolutely stunning. It’s so nice to sit in your balcony or bed and just look at views from our room. It’s a good peaceful change from other resorts near the beach. If you are looking for a peaceful stay this is the place. Staff are super friendly. Food is good

The resort just reopens after 3 years some facilities such as pool bar aren’t fully back at the time we stayed. The path down to the pool comes with steps so be ready to walk otherwise ask for car service.

Must stay here for the panoramic view if you visit koh tao.

We stayed another night here because of the sunset views. The hotel rooms are at the top of the hill, so can you really see the panoramic views of the ocean. Different kind of view from the resorts near the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable and come with basic amenity, nothing fancy. There is pick up from pier. Overall, good value.

The resort is on the hill so it has steep steps. Getting down to the pool which is located near the beach is requires lots of walking. The resort offers a ride but be prepared to walk if the ride isn’t available.

Mooie plek, jammer van de communicatie

Je hebt een prachtig uitzicht. Ko tao is vrij klein en je kon je hier perfect wegtrekken uit de drukte!

Blijkbaar werd het zwembad gerenoveerd, dit hebben wij nergens van te voren gezien. We wilde ook wel echt naar deze plek ivm het zwembad. Hiervoor kreeg je voor elke dag een gratis cocktail. Maar dan heb je keus uit 3 karige cocktails. Er zat ook helemaal niemand, dus niet de meest gezellige plek om dan een cocktail te gaan drinken? Op onze dag van vertrek was de receptie ook opeens gesloten dus moest je helemaal naar beneden naar het restaurant. Dat was het probleem niet, maar weer opnieuw de communicatie die er niet was. Deze dingen waren wel echt jammer.

La vue incroyable sur la mer avec en prime le coucher de soleil. La gentillesse du personnel. La petite plage parfaite pour faire du snorkeling et admirer les tortues.

Pourrait être rafraichit et un peu plus propre (draps avec quelques tâches et sol pas 100% nettoyé) Mais cela n’a pas entaché notre séjour :)

המלון ממוקם על הר, יש חדרים סטנדרטיים בחלק העליון ולאורך כל הדרך עד לסוף ההר יש חדרים מפנקים יותר, סוג של בקתות לא היה לנו וויפיי בחדר הסטנדרטי והצוות שהיה מדהים ועזר בהכל שידרג אותנו לחדר מפנק, גדול בהרבה הנוף מכל חדר מדהים והבריכה ממוקמת בקצה עם נוף מטורף ובר חמוד( יש בר יותר שווה בחוף הצמוד) ויש יציאה לחוף מבודד ושקט

בגלל איך שהמלון בנוי יש מלא מדרגות (מאתיים ומשהו פלוס מינוס) כדי להגיע לבריכה מה שמוציא קצת את הכיף בחופשה ומנוחה, ולא כדאי לנסות לעשות את העלייה הזאת עם אופנוע הארוחת בוקר לא משהו אבל במחיר הזה אומרים תודה שיש ארוחת בוקר

Una decepción

Las vistas eran muy bonitas

Está muy lejos de todo, necesitas moto si o si para moverte y encima una moto con potencia porque hay mil pendientes. Por otra parte llegamos a la habitación y olía muy mal y cuando nos dimos cuenta era porque en el baño había una tubería rota y no paraba de salir agua con mal olor. El acceso a la playa, restaurante, piscina es todo con muchas escaleras. También te ofrecen en booking que tiene televisión y cuando llegamos no había. Si es cierto que pedimos un cambio de habitación y nos las dieron y estaba mucho mejor. Pero yo no recomendaría el hotel por lo lejos que está y por el precio que tiene no vale la pena.

Chambre Spacieuse avec vue sur mer. Psicine accessible à pied ou en scooter. Personnel sympathique. Nous avons loué un scooter directement avec l'hotel ce qui est plus sur vis à vis des deposit. Nous savons qu'il y a beaucoup d'arnaques or avec l'hotel aucun deposit et c'est tres fiable.

Possibilité de navettes gratuite de 8h00 à 16h00. Nous avons eu quelques petites mal-ententes. Pensez à bien reserver à la reception ainsi que de confimer avec eux la navette, mais si non super arrangeant pour votre arrivé et votre départ.

Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für grandiosen Ausblick

Wir kamen spontan nachdem das Tao Thong Villa 2 uns für 100/ Nacht eine heruntergekommene Unterkunft präsentierte und wir für den gleichen Preis hier zu viert inklusive Frühstück in gehobenen Standard einbuchen konnten. Trotz kurzfristiger Buchung wurden wir innerhalb 30Minuten kostenfrei abgeholt und herzlich empfangen. Wir bekamen sofort ein tolles Zimmer, unser Gepäck und wir wurden bis ins Zimmer gebracht. Wir fragten aufgrund der Aussicht nach einem höher gelegenen Zimmer und wurden mit einem noch sagenhaftigerem Ausblick belohnt. Auch dieses Zimmer war riesig, super sauber, bequeme Betten mit duftender Wäsche und toller Ausstattung. Wem das Treppen steigen zu anstrengend ist kann sich auch vom Taxi-Service fahren lassen. Für uns war es kein Problem und wir waren begeistert und glücklich für diesen Preis solch tolle Ausstattung inklusive Room-Service und tollem sauberen Pool zu bekommen. Durch den Wind hält man es auch gut bei Hitze aus und der Mitarbeiter am Pool war wirklich überaus freundlich zu uns und den Kindern. Die Lage ist perfekt: rechts liegt ein toller Strand zum Schnorcheln mit Schildkröten und links entlang durch das View-Point kann man nochmal Schnorcheln und auch bis zum Chalok Ban Kao mit Shops und Restaurants laufen.

Die Zimmer/ Villas sind bereits modernisiert was auch am wichtigsten ist, das Restaurant und drum herum sieht man den derzeitigen Übergang und bereits neuere Dekoration und Mobiliar gepaart mit teils alten Sachen. In ein paar Monaten wird es sicherlich stimmig aussehen.

L’établissement est magnifique, il est dans les hauteurs, un peu compliqué pour venir, mais heureusement l’hôtel met en place des Taxi gratuit pour la journée. Les chambres vue mer, ont une vue splendide, les lits sont très confortable et très grand la salle de bain est très propre et le personnel est adorable.

dans ma chambre, il y avait parfois des remontées d’odeurs, mais cela n’a vraiment pas dérangé, en tout cas pas au point de partir de la chambre.
