Food was average… and hugely overpriced. Our original room was very small and then we moved and it was an OK size. Upon moving rooms they made us check out at 11 and new room not available or read until 3PM. Very annoying and no apology. Bed very hard - I found it hard to sleep. Staff were OK but not high-end luxury rating in my opinion. I had booked a trip before that I had to cancel and lost all my money because my Mum died. When I booked again I thought a nice gesture may have been an upgrade - but no. I did get a bottle of wine in my room on arrival. But I don’t drink so it was wasted.

Great stay, nice view, attentive personnel, fresh interiors!

The staff was great, except for the first night when they couldn’t get us a second blanket, in revanche - it was pretty late when we asked, but we fixed it next day. Special thank to the Valet service, who was attentive, fast and super friendly. We really loved the territory, the view from our room (main building), this cute little terrace we had overlooking the garden. They had nice breakfast and possibility to order eggs all possible ways, the Tiggr restaurant was also nice. I would say it was good value for money given that we were spending days outside of hotel, the vibe and design of the whole hotel is very Mexican like and i really enjoyed the decor and colors. Just few mins from hotel is the old village with restaurants and shops, hotel can bring you up with the golf car - very appreciated.

Some things in our room definitely could have been made smarter - there is no wardrobe where you can hang long dresses (shout out for ladies), we didn’t have any full sized mirror, lacked some more hooks/hangers in the room, would have been nice to have another small table or tabouret in the bathroom - it was simply impossible to place both cosmetic bags on the sink.

From the moment you arrive through the gates to be greeted by the valet and all the staff, the hotel Was fantastic. Loved all of the interiors, the attention to detail followed from the interiors through to the food and the staff. In a beautiful setting.

More kids options on the food menu. The hotel catered very well to children with their own robes, activity kits and shower items in the rooms but the dining was quite limited.

The best hotel in the South of France

Honestly one of the best hotels we have stayed at and one which fully deserved the 5 stars and a top rating on booking.com. The location is idyllic, the property is beautifully designed and well maintained, facilities and especially the SPA and the gym are top class, and the staff is wonderful! The two restaurants have amazing food and the breakfast is superb with a wide selection of top quality food and also a la carte eggs. Also the property is super dog friendly - we stayed there with our two little Maltese dogs and the staff were really caring and helpful with dogs allowed everywhere across the property. Also the village is a 5 min walk from the hotel and is beautiful with lots of things to see and restaurants to visit. Plus Cannes is just a 20 min drive if anyone fancies a bit more chaos. We will be definitely back - in fact during the stay we already booked another long weekend there. Couldn’t recommend more!

Pure Excellence

Everything was amazing! The property is even more beautiful than in the pictures — it’s located in a stunning setting. Breakfast was perfect, and the service was of a very high standard. The staff were sweet and authentic. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of hotel. Walking distance to the village. 10/10!

Wonderful hotel, first class and idyllic with a great atmosphere.

Breakfast was amazing, the design of the hotel is exquisite - asking for room service confused them - but they came up with food from the restaurant - it should be noted that the food in the restaurant in the evening is excellent Japanese if you are hoping for traditional French - however, there are several really incredible restaurants in Mougins itself from basic to fabulous Michelin starred. Cocktails were first class. Our room was a little small, but extremely comofrtable.

For the off season price the stay was good. For the high season prices I woulds not book.

Quiet nice surrounding, very nice pool, good breakfast, good parking.

Dinner menu offer, bad and totally overpriced desserts, completely overpriced wine by the glas, low water temperature of Jacuzzi tubs, no operative steam nor sauna cabins in spa, no adequate relax room in spa. Furniture is aged, specially in dining room.

Beautiful hotel set in gorgeous grounds.

Amazing hotel set in beautiful grounds. (There are a lot of steps so worth noting). We stayed in a suite which has a balcony overlooking the valley. The suite is beautiful - well appointed, nice bathroom, comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night so didn't have time to take advantage of the spa which looked lovely! Breakfast was more than reasonable and all in all it was a very enjoyable experience.

Superb

Le Mas Candille hotel sits on the top of Mougins watching a beautiful view. the entrance is big and impressive and the place contains a few pools and jacuzzies. it was unfortunate to discover that due to covid the sauna was not operating, and it was not clear during the booking. we booked the classic rooms, unfortunately, they did not stand to our expectations from a 5 stars hotel, but the staff was very professional and kind and they changed our rooms very fast to the superior rooms - which were significantly better. the spa was great and the breakfast was delicious, the staff is nice and kind always wants to help.

due to covid the sauna was not operating, and its was not clear during the booking.

For the price the food in the restaurant is average. For some reason they shut the residents bar at 11pm which was very disappointing for a 5 star hotel.

We have a room for the people with disabilities, so bad was too small for two and we didn’ t sleep ok. So , for us, it means that thay did not think about their guests. Anything in and out ( except garden) didn’t get 5 star expiriance

Pleasant stay and wonderful location

We love the view you get when you sit to have breakfast or dinner. It's stunning. We loved the dinners there. Breakfast was ok but it could be better. The main pool is great.

The outdated room we got. They could offer more healthy options in the breakfast. Gluten-free bread there isn't tasty at all. There are plenty of bakkers or specific brands who offer better gluten-free breads and options. Internet was very slow.

Would def return. Value for money compared to equivalent in the UK

Breakfast was superb. Location - few minutes walk into the old village of Mougin- excellent restaurants. Enjoyed the facilities . Children's pool which we used was lovely- there were no other children there except our granddaughter. Wife said that the massage was excellent. Used the outdoor gym- good. Restaurant on the terrace was excellent as well.

More vegeterian options on menu in restaurant- but Chef was able to provide few options for us

Excellent hotel

This hotel is fantastic in every respect. We stayed five nights and really enjoyed our time here. The hotel is very quiet and the staff are extremely friendly and very professional. The village is only a few minutes walk up a steep hill but not too far. I highly recommend the hotel for a quiet break. The pool is gorgeous and has a small bar where you can also get food. We did not have dinner in the hotel as we prefer to eat out but the breakfast was very good and the view amazing from the terrace. We will be back!

Not worth the cost of the stay.

Location to mougins

Our room and terrace overlooked the car park , it needs modernisation. Not all staff where friendly, in fact lady at reception was quite dismissive when asked a question. Most other staff where lovely.

Superb

The staff goes out of it's way to make you feel at home and they are very friendly and attentive . The rooms are nice and big and the pool is large . The terrace overlooks the valley , very nice outside area. Good parking facilities close to the room .
