Cote Remparts in Amboise was a great home base for visiting the Loire Valley

Location of the apartment is great - seconds from the center of Amboise and right across the street from the beautiful Amboise Castle. Apartment is beautifully decorated, new modern kitchen, nice bathrooms. Had everything we needed. Steven, our host, was awesome - always quick to respond to any questions and provided a lot of great information on restaurants and activities prior to our stay, plus very clear instructions on how to access the apartment.

The only improvement would be air conditioning but we also realize this is not the norm in Europe and didn't expect it!

The apartment was fabulous. The location could not have been better.

We were met at the property by a fellow Canadian who was very helpful about the property itself and the area. She gave us great suggestions on what to visit and where to eat.

Everithing was simply perfect! The location (yes, it is literally Cote Remparts) is the best possible - between the castle and the river. The appartment is wonderfull - comfortable, specious, clean and beutiful. We were greated by Steven who was a real delight and provided all the information we needed.

Brilliant - loved our stay!

Considering that this was a late booking, I was totally taken back upon the arrival. The flat was amazing - so French - just beautiful. The location, literally next to the Amboise Castle, and two minutes from the main street, could not have been better. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and very quiet. The living room just stunning and it was a joy to relax in. The flat had all what we needed, including washing machine and dishwasher. In addition, it was great to be welcomed and shown around the flat. We found the booklet with useful information very handy, and the restaurant recommendations were excellent. Definitely worth making a table reservation, as so many people were turned away from the places that we went.

Parking ..... I got seriously worried upon arrival - as shown expensive, short term parking options only. Luckily, some free parking spaces became available later in the day, just down from the flat, and we moved into one of these spaces and did not move the car again until we left!

Cote Rempart was ideally located in the centre of Amboise nestled below the Chateau. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment was very spacious, well equipped and beautifully decorated making for a very comfortable stay. The host was on hand and attentive should you need anything
