We loved our stay in this beautiful historical building, and recommend it.

It was a lovely place, spacious, nicely furnished, a very pretty yard, very close to town, we walked everywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

I would recommend hand soap and perhaps shampoo/conditioner/lotion for the bathroom(s). Not a big deal, just a thought.

Magical location in a wonderful town

Absolutely stunning property. Nicely furnished with good amenities. Beautiful courtyard gardens allowed the kids to play outside in a safe environment.

Better fans would be nice. A coat rack would be useful for hanging stuff upon entering.

The place to stay when you go to Amboise.

It was a unique experience to stay in this historical building. The apartment was spacious, kitchen with all amenities, including a washing machine. The view of the garden from our room was amazing! Finally, the location is two minute walk from the center of Amboise. Highly recommended for any length of stay in Amboise. To top it off: free parking on the premises.

Exceptional

This was a beautiful property. Plenty of space for my family of 5. Stephane was very helpful taking us around the property and recommending nearby attractions. The place has a really nice feel of a historic building, while being very well maintained with fully remodeled kitchen and two bathrooms. There was parking on the property. It is very conveniently located with just a two minute walk to Chateau D'Amboise. We were very comfortable. We would stay there again and would recommend to others.

Superb location.

High ceilings (14'), stone construction and wooden window covers makes temperature regulation OK even without AC (temps over 100 F). Super location, great value.

Although it did say there was a security deposit required external to the booking, I did not see it as it was my first time using Booking.com. The security deposit requires you to send the deposit via wire directly to the landlord and you may lose money on the foreign exchange cycle (USD to EUR to USD). There was no problem getting the security deposit back. Narrow access into and out of the parking courtyard... navigable but pay attention.

a beautiful property in a fantastic location.

the location is excellent - only a 3min walk into the main strip of restaurants. the apartment is beautifully maintained and in a quiet enclave. The host, Stèphane was extremely helpful and made our stay much easier.

the only downsides to be aware of are that it is an historic property, as such there can be no air conditioning (it was very hot when we stayed) and access is via a stone spiral staircase. however, we did all of that with a 3 month baby and the hosts provided fans and air coolers to help with the heat.

Renaissance treasure in the heart of Amboise. Perfect location with private parking and a lovely quiet garden. Beautifully renovated.

Having a washing machine was very useful - a drying rack and iron would be a great addition.

Апартаментът е просторен, светъл, реновиран със стил, носи атмосферата на 16-ти век, но има и всички съвременни удобства. Сградата има собствена градина и удобен паркинг. За апартамента има запазено паркомясто. Отлично място за престой в сърцето на долината на Лоара и нейните замъци.

В апартамента има две бани и две тоалетни, което е добре. Но втората баня/ тоалетна се намират в една от спалните, без никаква преграда между леглото и тоалетната, дори визуална, което се оказа много по-неудобно, отколкото можеше да си представим. Същата спалня се намира откъм улицата, която е натоварена от рано сутрин до късно вечер. Прозорците нямат никаква шумоизолация и в спалнята е доста шумно. В апартамента няма машина за еспресо.
