Apartamentos Sol & Ria

This apartment is centrally located in Olhao. Fabulous restaurant's and a few bars are less than two minutes walk away. There are two large balconies and a roof terrace with sea views. Check-in was very straightforward with the assistance of Maria who was very helpful. The apartment is fully equipped to meet all your needs. By opening shutters and windows in the living room and bedroom you get a lovely cool breeze blowing through even when it's very hot outside. All the other guests were cooperative to the various policies which made our stay all the more enjoyable.

There were 2 barbecue areas, one on the living room balcony and one on the roof terrace. Both were obviously not cleaned after previous guests. As we didn't intend using them, this didn't bother us, but it could bother future guests. Also be aware you have to launder your towels and bed linen as this service is not facilitated throughout your stay. You also have to put out your trash, but the trash bins are very close to the apartment which wasn't a problem for us.

Could not get a better apartment to be handy a for every thing

Only one comfertable chair in room plus the balcony was only a Juliet

Location was very close to front, markets, restaurants and shops.

Difficulty unlocking door to apartment, key would not function well. Room very dark and gloomy, window facing narrow street. Room layout not well-designed, sofa not well-placed at far end of room facing door. Kitchen equipment very basic but manageable.
