La Boutique Maya

Wonderful family-friendly hotel – we would definitely come back! ❤️ We had a wonderful stay at La Boutique Maya and can highly recommend it, especially for families. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, the rooms were cleaned regularly, and the pool area was always spotless. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm and helpful and made us and our daughter feel very welcome throughout our stay. A special thank you to Ahmet Bey, Aynur Hanım, Kamile Abla, Veysel and the entire team for their wonderful hospitality. The breakfast offered a great variety, and we also highly recommend the hotel restaurant – the food was fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced compared with many restaurants in Ölüdeniz. The location is another big plus: quiet and comfortable for families, yet very central, with the beach and promenade only about a 10-minute walk away and easy access by taxi. Great food, excellent cleanliness, a lovely pool, perfect location and, above all, an amazing team. We felt completely at home and would definitely choose La Boutique Maya again!

Really lovely stay. The pool, bar, and cleaning staff are super nice. The hotel is modern, clean, and relaxing and there were always sun beds available by the pool. There was plenty of variation at breakfast too. The location is nice and quiet and a short walk to supermarkets, restaurants and the main strip/beach.

Upon arrival we had an issue with our taxi driver (we had been unable to get money out of ATMs). He had become extremely agitated and we were at a loss as to what to do as we could not access cash to pay him. We asked the reception staff if it’d be possible for them to take a card payment from us and return give us cash to sort the issue. We were given a very blunt ‘no’ in response. Understandably this was not the fault of the hotel staff, but we felt quite let down that there was no further expression of wanting or trying to help us when were quite obviously distressed (particularly as two young women with an older man being aggressive towards us).

Absolutely stunning hotel and good location. Short walk to shops and walk but away from noise on an evening. Feels set back and peaceful even though its central to everything including the beach.

Wash/shower room facilities are in through a room that theu use for storage and hotel equipment but it was clean and upto date.

The location was good.

The description of the hotel does not match the reality. Several issues: 1. I had booked a deluxe room. The bed was actually just two single beds joined together and the bed sheet did not cover the whole mattress, so some of the mattress was exposed. I had to ask for extra bed sheets and then cover the mattress myself. 2. information for the hotel on Booking.com said no pets allowed. However, during the stay there were 2 dogs that were walking around the hotel. The main issue with this was that the dogs were allowed to walk around during breakfast time and I saw the waiters playing and stroking the dogs. The hotel said one dog belonged to the owner so then I can only assume the other dog was stray/from outside. 3. information for the hotel on Booking.com stated that there was a buffet breakfast. However, this was not the case. The choice of breakfast was just either Turkish or English, and was not a buffet. 4. position of the air conditioning unit in the room was bad. It was directly above the bed, so the air blows directly on to the bed, so during the night we had to sleep with the air conditioning off. 5. i had a swim up room, which has direct pool access. The issue I found was that guests were allowed to use the pool 24 hours a day. On 2 different nights there were guests making noise in the pool very late at night and this disturbed my sleep. One night I had to call to reception to ask for the guests to keep the noise down. I raised the above issues with the hotel and I did receive a response at first. However, after I replied the hotel then ignored several of my emails chasing a response. I then contacted the hotel on whatsapp but again my messages were ignored. Very unprofessional from the hotel owners. I asked for some compensation for the issues i had faced but was simply ignored.
