We had a great week at this property in July. The setting is really incredible with the river and the weir for private swimming. The rope swing kept our 15 year old (and the grown ups) entertained and was great fun. Our dog also had an amazing week swimming in the river! The house is in a very peaceful setting and nearby Loches has some nice restaurants and a good market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Philippe, the host, was very friendly and great communication before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here, particularly if you have teenagers as the river swimming is way more exciting than a pool!

Wonderful, unique, property, in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. We spent a lot of time relaxing by the private river pool, using the rope swing, and playing on the inflatable in the current from the weir. The river pool was definitely more interesting and exciting than an actual swimming pool - perhaps more suited to older children. Philippe was very helpful and informative.

A very nice and quite place to stay. The old house gives you the feeling of living hundred of years ago, especially in the evening and at night. The sun of Mr. V. is very kind and helpfull, when needed. Many things to do in the surrounding: cycling, wandering and visiting many tourist places.

"This is a big beautiful old house in lovely surroundings. The owner was very helpful, supplying us with everything we needed. Accomodation was clean and spacious. Surroundings were wonderful,with a stream/wood/fields outside, and the Town of Loche just a 5 min drive away."

"A lovely peaceful and relaxing location, yet close to many chateau's and interesting town's, plenty of good restaurants most of which accept dogs. We were unlucky with the weather so were unable to enjoy any swimming or boating in the river, however we did have some very pleasant walks. Our hosts were very friendly and made us very welcome."

The island on which the house sits and surrounding area were less clear from the description but nevertheless very lovely. Phillipe and his wife are lovely people to deal with and we would have no hesitation in recommending the property and in staying there again ourselves. We had a wonderful stay."

La location est idéalement placée au beau milieu de l'Indre avec un accès direct sur une large zone de baignade (attention aux très jeunes enfants) et l'opportunité de partir en kayak. Ping pong couvert, plancha électrique, larges espaces verts. Une maison bien équipée, au calme, mais très près de la ville de Loches. Et un merci à Marion pour son accueil et son sourire.

Truly wonderful holiday location, amazing location and a really nice privat house on a stunning private island. The swimming part of the river is the largest private pool you will ever come across. part of the garden is completely walled which was great for the dogs which could walk freely. The bedrooms and the beds were recently renovated and replaced and slept wonderful. The host Philippe is a wonderful and nice person. He comes by every evening to look after his horses, he will give you full privacy but is also great company for a chat and a drink. Again an amazing location and a wonderful house, highly recommended!!

Nous recherchions un endroit au calme, en pleine nature pour nos vacances dédiées aux retrouvailles familiales et au repos. Nous l'avons trouvé dans ce moulin au charme ancien, très correctement équipé, avec une literie soignée et des activités proposées (canoë...)et possibles ( rando,vélo.. ) Le plan d'eau est un plus trés appréciable. Nous sommes répartis enchantés.

Charmante et grande maison dans un cadre magnifique, un petit paradis surtout lorsqu'il fait très chaud. Très agréable de se retrouver au bord de l'eau sous les arbres à lire un livre, se reposer, ... Les enfants et nous mêmes avons adoré le point d'eau, un morceau de rivière rien que pour nous! Bouée, matelas gonflable, saut à la corde, kayak, canoë, ... Accueil très chaleureux du propriétaire, toujours à disposition en cas de question ou problème. Je recommande!

Pas de mauvaise surprise par rapport aux photos et descriptifs. La maison et ses alentours sont propres et bien entretenus. Le propriétaire est sympathique et disponible en cas de besoin. Nous avons énormément apprécié les 2 semaines en famille (2 adultes et 3 enfants) dans cet endroit calme, reposant et atypique. C'est ce que nous recherchions. Nous avons pu faire Loches, Amboise (Clos Lucé de Léonard de Vinci), Parc du Puy du Fou et Futuroscope tout en profitant chaque jour de la baignade et des sorties en canoë. Endroit idéal avec des ados. Ainsi que pour les amoureux de la nature et de la tranquillité. Néanmoins les randonneurs, les scouts et certaines erreurs de GPS peuvent interrompre de temps en temps cette tranquillité en souhaitant traverser une propriété privée. Nous recommandons vivement ce petit coin de paradis.

L'endroit est paisible et un havre de nature . Il est un véritable lieu d'histoire et de l'atmosphère pas seulement une maison de vacances. Notre hôte Philippe était sympathique et très serviable et aime évidemment son moulin. La maison a beaucoup d'éléments d'époque intéressants et des vues magnifiques de chaque pièce. La rivière et l'étang du moulin sont d'excellents endroits pour pêcher et juste profiter de l'environnement . Nous espérons vivement de revenir.

Maison exceptionnelle à bien des égards! Pour les indécis que les seules photos n'auraient pas convaincus, n'hésitez pas. Le lieu est un havre de paix assez paradisiaque et la maison est fonctionnelle, lumineuse, très agréable à vivre et idéalement située pour profiter des richesses culturelles de la région ou visiter l'incontournable parc zoologique de Beauval.

Endroit magique dans une zone boisée. La rivière est au pied de la maison. Un barrage, un ancien moulin. Un cadre superbe pour se reposer. La maison en elle même est bien agencée. Nouis avons 2 chiens qui sont sympas et qui se sont eclatés Ma seule demande serait que les lits soient faits gratuitement a notre arrrivée se serait un plus pour les locataires. IL faut se respecter et tout ira bien"

Malgré le fait qu''on loue la maison et le domaine, le propriétaire pense pouvoir débarquer à l''improviste et à tout moment de la journée. C''est dommage. "Très bel emplacement, entouré d'eau et de végétation, très beau à l'automne, période à laquelle nous y avons séjourné. La maison est agréable et très bien chauffée. Il y a aussi une cheminée mais il ne faisait pas assez froid pour que nous ayons besoin de la faire fonctionner. La cuisine est grande et très bien équipée. Les trois chambres sont spacieuses. La déco des pièces est vieillotte, mais une fois qu'on est dans l'ambiance, on s'y fait très bien. Il manque peut être un vrai lit BB (type lit parapluie), car celui qui est disponible n'est pas utilisable pour un enfant de moins de 18 mois/2 ans, car sans barrière de sécurité. Bonne situation géographique pour visiter la région, les châteaux de la Loire...; la ville de Loches aussi est magnifique et à 2 minutes en voiture. Dans l'ensemble, nous étions vraiment satisfaits et essayerons de revenir peut être une autre fois à la belle saison pour profiter de la baignade et du canoë sur l'Indre."

Mit unseren 3 Kindern hat es gut geklappt, weil ausreichend Gartenfläche zum Spielen vorhanden ist und der vorbeifließende Fluß Schwimmmöglichkeiten bietet, aber nicht so tief ist, daß man Angst haben müsste."
