Winter in Mutters

We had a great time at Schusterhof in Mutters. Apartman was fine for us. It was super clean and you have kitchen big + dining table. Very Good heating. The host was very friendly and helpful. I think it wasnt loud as others described. Train is close and bus just stop front of the house.

We read in reviews before about the ceiling heights. Its a problem if you are tall. But for us it was ok. Towels can be better.

Pleasant, clean and charming Austrian apartment

A wonderful place, rural but very neat and tidy, with Austrian charm. Katarina was very hospitable, and the apartment was spotlessly clean. We were very grateful for the sweets, wine, milk, and butter she generously provided. I noticed that some previous reviews mentioned a smell in the house, saying it reminded them of a farm. Personally, I found it very mild and not unpleasant at all. I believe it may have come from candles or something typical of Austria, as we noticed the same scent in a mountain restaurant nearby. It certainly didn’t bother us, so there’s no need to worry about it. Another huge plus was the Welcome Card( which our hosts gave us ) which allowed us to take the cable car up to Oberperfuss for free and enjoy beautiful views of Innsbruck from the top of the mountain. With the card, we could also use public transport free of charge, which saved us a lot of money.

Everything was fine overall, but the mattress was very firm and felt more like a traditional cotton-filled mattress. This is just my personal impression.

Amazing experience to stay with a local family.

The backyard has awesome views of the alps it is breathtaking. The room was comfortable with a lovely little balcony. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable. We even visted their farm and they brought us around. They gifted us a welcome gift and a parting gift which was very thoughtful.

It was rather difficult to bathe in the bathtub due to the low sloping ceiling and my family members are tall. It is also because my family is used to a standing shower. However, it was great that there were two sinks in the toilet. The rest of the room was great.

This was our second time staying at Schusterhof and we would certainly stay again.

We love staying at Schusterhof. The apartment is on the third floor of a family home in Mutters. The family is very sweet and kind. A bakery is just down the street for breakfast in the morning and there is a pizzeria for dinner. Innsbruck is a 30 minute tram ride away and the Muttereralmbahn is just up the hill for hiking.

If you are a very tall person, this might not be the right apartment for you as the ceilings are a little low.

Perfect location for visiting every aspect the area has to offer

If you want sit on the balcony in the early evening the traffic is a bit noisy but you can work around it. Its mainly tractors and people going home after work for a couple of hours, after 6pm its very quiet.

Cozy but spacious apartment overlooking the Alps

Really friendly host, Katharina was very lovely. Large room for family stay. Nice view overlooking the Alps! Space for parking. Serene and peaceful.

Only the ceiling of the bathroom was very low. So tall people might be struggling when taking a shower.

The owner was very welcoming and friendly, we had no trouble communicating in English. The rooms were clean, homely and comfortable. Not luxurious but very good for the price. Fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher). Nice, flowery balcony. Good connection to Innsbruck through STB tram.

In the room with the bunk beds there's only a roof window which we had to keep closed some nights due to storms and rain. That made the room quite stuffy.

The apartment's location is truly remarkable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and hospitable, warmly welcoming us into their home. They graciously offered us a tour of their Cow House, where we had the delightful opportunity to savor fresh milk during our stay. The enchanting garden at the back, designed for children, provides a breathtaking view akin to being nestled right beside a majestic mountain. Our time spent in the apartment and in the charming village of Mutters was truly unforgettable.

The ceiling height in the apartment is relatively low, requiring me to be mindful of my posture and keep my head down to avoid any potential discomfort. :)

The room that we were in is in the attic of the house, so the ceiling slants toward the floor around one edge of the room that was a minor inconvenience

Super nice and cozy apartment, they welcomed us as part of the family. We found a bottle of good wine and some sweets for the kids in the apartment when we arrived. The family has been super nice to help us organizing the transfers from-to Innsbruck. Much recommended hosts and apartment! Kids loved the animals and nativity scenes all around the village and in this house. Well connected with a tram to the center of Innsbruck. Supermarket and bakery closed by.

The location of the house and the facilities it has. The kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking food. There was a beautiful balcony where you can sit and gaze through mountains while sipping your tea. Also the hosts were very nice. They gave us the fresh milk which was super tasty. I would love to visit this place again.

It's a bit far from the city so traveling via train makes it little difficult to reach.

The family were very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of towels available and fresh milk to buy from the farm. Some juice and wine were left as a welcome pack.

Superb

Breakfast was really delicious with home-made products. Rooms were comfortable and clean. It is not far from Innsbruck (it is possible to go there by train). It is a very quiet traditional family home. I would suggest spending some time there.

Authentic family-run farm. Deliciously fresh breakfast, friendly hosts who are happy to show the workings of milking and feeding to the kids. Great location for family excursion into Innsbruck and surroundings. We were allowed to recharge our electric car (from a normal plug).

The apartment has a very low sloped ceiling. Not a problem for a couple of days, but if you are taller than 170 or want to shower standing up, this is something to keep in mind.

Authentic Austrian hospitality and accommodation

Our hosts were very welcoming and kind. The apartment was cosy and nicely prepared. It had an excellent well appointed little kitchen and the seating area for meals was spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent, near to a supermarket and restaurants and easy parking in the rear yard. Located near to the fast road to skiing and villages of Stubaier Glacier. Extremely warm and friendly hosts who were very helpful. Gorgeous views! We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Schönes, großes Wohnschlafzimmer, größe, sehr bequeme Betten, liebevoll gestaltete, ausführliche Informationsmappe, Küche komplett ausgestattet, neben Doppelbett noch großes Sofa und Esstisch, kleines zweites Zimmer mit Stockbtten (jedoch breit und bequem), Badezimmer mit Badewanne, Balkon mit tollen Blick. Vorteil; Stubaibahn nach Innsbruck zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar.

Die Wohnung liegt unter dem Dach, daher gibt es eine Dachschräge; Durchgang zum Badezimmer und Bereich über der Badewanne sind daher sehr niedrig. Ansonsten alles bestens.

Domaćini su jako dragi i ljubazni! Odlično govore engleski. Kuća je odmah do autobusne stanice. Preko puta je izvrsna pizzeria, a i pekara je vrlo blizu. Apartman ima sve što je potrebno i za kuhanje. Sve je bilo jako uredno i čisto. Osjeća se obiteljska atmosfera. Innsbruck je blizu i dostupan raznim javim prijevoznim sredstvima (tramvaj-vlak, autobus). Uz boravak smo dobili gratis kartice za vožnju javnim prijevozom za sve dane koje smo boravili tamo.

Nema trgovine mješovitom robom blizu. Kupaonica ima jako niski i kosi strop jer je apartman u potkrovlju, pa je tuširanje prilično nezgodno.

Struttura pulita, personale accogliente e molto disponibile. Essendo un appartamento non effettuano durante il soggiorno servizio di pulizia della camera che è comunque molto ben rifornita (lenzuola, asciugamani, stoviglie,..). Molto consigliato a famiglie con bambini. Ottima la posizione e la vicinanza ai mezzi di trasporto per raggiungere il centro di Innsbruck.

Accoglienza, personale gentilissimo, possibilità di usare giochi, giardino, bella vista dal giardino, ottima posizione. Appartamento molto grande con cucina funzionale e bagno molto ampio. Letto matrimoniale king molto comodo.

C'è la vasca ma non la doccia. L' appartamento è mansardato quindi in alcuni posti il soffitto è molto basso.

Mysig vistelse i en alpby i Österrike.

Det var väldigt mysigt och ombonat. Katharina och familjen var mycket trevliga. Det var fint att se i lägenheten se bilder och läsa om familjen, husets historia och byn Mutters. Lägenheten var ren och fräsch. Det var roligt att bo mitt i en alpby med utsikt över bergen från balkongen. Vi vandrade mycket i omgivningarna i och mellan byarna runt om byn Mutters. Området är otroligt vackert. Fin utsikt också från spårvagnen från Innsbruck till byn Mutters.

Det var en hel del backar så vi fick mycket motion och det var inget problem för oss men för den som inte är så rörlig kan det vara en svårighet.

Posto incantevole...

Appartamento in una posizione davvero incantevole e strategica, apprezzato moltissimo il giardino sia dai bambini che noi adulti dove ci siamo rilassati ammirando il bel panorama. I pardoni di casa gentilissimi e super ospitali. Appartamento pulito e dotato di tutti i comfort. Ci hanno fatto provare il latte fresco ed era squisito. Che dire, da ritornare assolutamente.

Appartamento carino per quanto riguarda cucina e soggiorno, in un paese tranquillo vicino a Innsbruck. Comoda la pasticceria per la colazione vicina. Proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile.

Il bagno mansardato è molto scomodo, farsi la doccia nella vasca nella parte bassa, senza tenda, è stato davvero complicato. Interni dei cassetti non pulitissimi.

Hier werden Kinderträume war

Die Gastfreundlichkeit der Familie. Wir durften zur jeder Zeit in den Stall und das Highlight unserer 3 Jährigen Tochter war jeden Tag als sie die Tiere füttern durfte. Außerdem ist die Anbindung mit der Bahn ein träumchen. Keine 5 min Gehweg zum Bahnhof und nach 20 min war man in der Stadt. Eine Pizzeria ist quer gegenüber. Keine 2 min Gehweg zur Apotheke und zum Bäcker. Rundum perfekt. Der nächste Aufenthalt ist bereits wieder gebucht.
