Uncomfortable stay despite nice garden

The courtyard, however, is very beautiful.

The hotel is far beyond its intended lifespan and should have been fully renovated long ago. The bed is too short and has a footboard – I am 1.84m and had to sleep uncomfortably, diagonally, with my legs sticking out. There are actually two beds placed close together with a gap in between, and only one bedside table. The air conditioning has practically just two settings: “on – freezing cold” and “off – unbearably hot.” The bathroom feels like it came straight from the battlefield: the shower cabin doors are falling apart, and the toilet makes such a loud noise when refilling that it could wake the dead. In the kitchen, there was no sponge or dish detergent provided. There are no mosquito screens, though on request we were given an electric mosquito repellent. Breakfast is the same every single day, sometimes even with leftovers from the previous day. It is of the cheapest possible quality – cold cuts comparable to baloney, and not even real butter, only margarine. On top of everything, the price is about 50% higher than other hotels in the area, which makes the overall experience feel even less justified.

Looks very well maintained from the outside, very nice garden. The swimming pool had a nice design and there were sun beds and parasols. From the staff, we liked Maria the most! A really nice and friendly girl and speaks very good English!

- except Maria, the rest barely spoke English. The receptionist’s welcome was not very welcoming. - the owner’s wife give us the feeling that she was watching and checking what you put on your plate for breakfast - The swimming pool floor was made of small little gravel stones, making it very uncomfortable to walk on and hurts your feet. - The room: TV screen was very small The mattress had bed bugs that we felt biting us The beds had wooden frames so there was a gap between them therefore we couldn’t put the mattress together only one night stand No chairs (so we took two chairs from the garden) The shower was terrible. Very small cabin of which the plastic doors are falling off(first time using it the door came off the railing and remained in our hand). The water stream was weak and the shower head couldn’t not be hang on the wall in a stable way. Water drainage was not good. Plugged! The kitchen was very poorly equipped.doors of cabinets were hard to open and were not straight There was only one electrical socket for the kettle and the cooking hub(for one plate). There was no soap or brush to wash the dishes, nor the property did it for us. And from every cutlery there were only two items. Our overall expectations, based on the review score we saw for this property, was much higher than what we eventually experienced!!! Not recommended!

Lovely

It was very clean. They waited for us to arrive. Because we arrived later than we wanted. The breakfast was very tasty. There were a lot of spots to wash your feet from the sand.

The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed. Check-in was seamless, and we were even greeted with a complimentary welcome drink — a lovely touch. Our room was immaculate and tastefully designed, featuring a supremely comfortable bed and luxurious linens that made for a restful night’s sleep. The hotel’s amenities went above and beyond expectations. The serene pool and private garden provided a peaceful escape that added a special touch of relaxation to our stay. Breakfast was another standout — fresh, varied, and beautifully prepared, it was the perfect start to each day. The location is ideal, within easy walking distance of key attractions, excellent restaurants, and public transportation. All in all, Hotel Aristide made our trip truly unforgettable. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a refined and relaxing stay.

Good place

First,the hotel is the synonym for heaven,peaceful and full with positive energy. The hotel room is big and large,the hygiene is on the max level and every day we got our room cleaned,we had private parking where no one could touch our cars,but for me it was the pool and the garden around it that made that place like heaven. Theremore, the breakfast was simple but delicious, we had bread,eggs,meat,cheese,tomatoes,cucumbers, olives, fruits, orange juice and some sweet things. All in all,we had a great experience with this hotel and I reccomend it to everyone who wants to go and spend a peaceful day here.

Very good

Great location, nearby a very nice beach. Beautiful surroundings. Parking available and there’s a nice swimming pool which we didn’t use. The room we got was not the best, different from the pictures shown but still it was comfortable and it had everything you may need.

Nice hotel, very nice pool but room was below expectations

Beds were not confortable. Kitchen was not as hoped. Just 2 knifes, 2 plates, no oven, 1 pan, 1 stove.. not possible to cook normally while the description said that there was a fully equiped kitchen

A lovely lady is in charge of this hotel. A very enjoyable stay.

The lady who dealt with us was very friendly and helpful. The safety deposit box was sturdy and key-operated, which I prefer. I slept well here during my stay. The location was very satisfactory,a 7 minute walk to the centre of Skala Fourka.

Disaster and a waste of money!

The water coming out of the washbasin in the bathroom was dirty and white. The bathroom was leaking and when you were taking a shower the bathroom was full of water.The air conditioning was broken and it was making a lot of noise and we couldn’t sleep at night since we had to leave it on because it was very hot, and at times it was not producing cold air.

Great accomodation in Fourka

The apartment was spacious, beds were comfortable, the balcony was amazing, so big and we had a great view of the pool. The staff was very nice altogether and also useful, as they managed to find us a rental car within minutes when our own car broke down. The pool was very clean and the whole garden is very beautiful. Wi-Fi was ok (kept disconnecting but other than that it was decent). Two supermarkets were within walking distance. Cleaning every other day, towels were changed twice during our one week stay. There was a lot of fauna in the garden, the children loved to observe the pink lizards that sometimes climbed to our balcony at night and also lots of cute insects and butterflies. There were also mosquitoes and flies, but they were easy to keep out if we used the window curtains.

The shower cabin was defective (the 2 sliding doors were missing, only the fixed panels were still installed) and this lead to water on the bathroom floor every time someone took a shower (luckily they always kept a bucket and mop on the hallway and we were able to use them). The switches were placed in awkward positions (some of the lightbulb switches and electric window blinds sometimes had to be operated from the other room than the one they were installed in). There are a lot of street vendors (from watermelons to car tires) with megaphones who might spoil your sleep if you plan to wake up later than 8 o'clock.

The hotel was exactly what i needed after a long lockdown, clean, quiet and perfectly managed.

The location is great. very close to the best part of Fourka beach, beautifully sandy. The hotel is only a few minutes away by walk from a big supermarket. There are fantastic restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel is absolutely spotless. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. the pool is good for children and adults alike. The are more than enough comfortable sun beds if you would like a quick ( or not so quick!) sunbathing. My room was very good size with a large bathroom which was very clean. The kitchenette is very well equipped with an oven and hobs. The fridge is large enough to cater a family. My bed was very comfortable with nice and comfortable pillows. I had a little balcony which was sunny during the day and nice and cool in the evenings. I was working so I needed a stable internet connection. I had no issues whatsoever. All my zoom meetings were uneventful.It was my first trip since the pandemic hit us and i used to travel a lot for work. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and the service. Finally re the owners and the management; I was treated like a guest and not some customer. The owners were absolutely delightful people who treated their guests with utmost care. They were happy to share with their guests the most delicious olives and fruits from their own groves and orchards. If you are considering Halkidiki consider Fourka beach and of course this fine establishment. You will thank me.
