Cozy, friendly, easy stay!

Really cozy property, great rooms and great location just a 3 min walk from Galzig lift. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Everything from check in to breakfast to storing ski gear was extremely easy.

Excellent location, 2 minutes from the town centre and lifts. Great ski storage room with easy access. Nice simple breakfast and little bar for drinks in the evening. Friendly staff!

We didn’t have a bath in our room, only a shower. Additionally we would have liked a coffee machine/kettle in the room too, so we could make simple hot drinks.

Loved this property and would definitely return

This boutique property was perfect for a ski trip. Close proximity to everything train station, lifts, and town centre. The owners and staff were delightful and nothing was a problem. The restaurant was exceptional including the daily breakfast. Comfy beds, goods sized rooms, quality interior and very clean.

Good to know there is no refrigerator in the room and no shampoo and conditioner.

Convenient and Clean

This hotel was sparkling clean, and the staff were very friendly. My room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and even though it was a single room, it had plenty of space. The location was handy to the town, the lifts and the train station. I liked the addition of slippers and a robe. The shampoo/body wash was good quality.

There was no tea or coffee making facility in my room so I had to go into town to find a coffee.

Exceptionally nice staff/owner family. We felt very welcome as guests. The interior is traditional and nice. The restaurant is very good. Location is also excellent and very close to lift and town centre.

Exceptional

We've visited St Anton many times and stayed in a variety of hotels now. Schindler was by far my favourite. The location is great, close to the slopes and the center, the staff were incredible, so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We ate at the restaurant twice and was our favourite meals! Compared to other hotels it was very reasonably priced. Couldn't recommend more!

The breakfast was great and the staff member serving us was lovely and always cheerful and helpful. All the staff were very friendly. The rooms were spacious and always immaculate. The location was perfect for 2 of the main lifts.

Great ski resort with lots of ski slopes for all types. Lots of area to ski from one mountain to the many other mountains. Schindler Hotel is walk to everything which is very convenient. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was great and the staff were too. We had parking at the hotel which was fabulous.

Passable

There was very little we like about the property. Maybe, they needed to tell us that we actually had to walk outside our room to get into the hotel. We found this very awkward. It was very cold so to even get to breakfast we had to wear all our outdoor clothes and of course, mask up. We also though the breakfast was very basic. The kitchen staff also smoked outside our room which we found very uncomfortable. We also found the ski room very dangerous to get to. With the snow and ice we put our lives in danger even before we got to the mountain.

Bad

I’ve booked through Booking a family room for 130 Euro for 1 night. As we arrived the owner of the hotel showed us receipt for 342 Euro (she said the price shown on Booking.com was per person!!!!). Absolutely crazy. We shown our confirmation for 130 Euro and lady was clearly unhappy about situation. Obviously the hotel had to put wrong settings on Booking.com (maybe-who knows). But let’s face the truth, who would pay 340 for the night in three star hotel!!!! We also bought breakfast but the atmosphere at the breakfast was at least awkward- same lady (owner I think) was serving. Not a nice experience at all unfortunately.

Great quality choice if you want to be only 2min walk from the main lifts.

Couldn't be more pleased with the location. Literally 2 min from the 2 main lifts. Very friendly staff who parked the car and helped to get me checked in earlier. Well furnished breakfast, clean and warm rooms. Well thought through ski space.

A kettle for tea in the room would have been appreciated.

Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, alles hat sehr einfach, zuverlässig und unkompliziert funktioniert. Die Lage ist Top zur Galzig Bergbahn und im Zentrum von St. Anton ist man auch sehr schnell. Das Frühstück ein Traum, das Ambiente vom Hotel und von meinem Zimmer war phantastisch und sehr geschmackvoll. Dieses Hotel hat eine 10 von 10 überaus verdient.
