Our second time in Manarola and we loved staying here! Stunning view but still a manageable walk that we could handle to get there! Great air conditioning, comfortable beds, and check in was so easy! We were greeted at the tunnel, he helped us with our bags, and sent us many recommendations for dining and activities!!

Amazing stay, amazing apartment. So glad we stayed in Manarola as opposed to the other villages. The host, Gianluca, was fantastic. He met us outside the tunnel from the train station to the village and escorted us to the flat. He provided the Residents supplemental card for the Via Dell'amore, we could use it as much as we wanted from both Manarola or from Riomaggiore with the trekking/train card. The flat is a good hike up from the train station, but not too bad. The flat was very clean and comfortable. We are two couples who each had our own bedroom and bathroom with the kitchen and living room in the middle. Both bedrooms and living space had air conditioning. The balcony is very tiny, only two people can be out there at one time. There is an ocean view and you can see as far as Monterroso and Corniglia. There is a small clothes line on the balcony and there is a washing machine in the flat which was very handy. We didn't do any cooking in the flat because the restaurants around are so good. Gianluca was so kind to make us reservations for three different and fantastic restaurants. Everything was so tasty. Highly recommend Da Aristide.

Gianluca was a fantastic host who provided so much useful information about the area and helped us with dinner reservations and Cinque Terre card tickets. The Rosa di Mare apartment was the perfect place for our family to stay. The two separate but connected spaces allowed us all to be together with privacy for everyone. The view from balcony was beautiful and we spent most of our time out there if we weren’t out in town. Manarola and Rosa di Mare were a nice home base to explore CinqueTerre as it was easily accessible from the train station. Gianluca was a wonderful host and helped us with our plans both before and during our trip. I would highly recommend to anyone coming to the area.

The apartment was in a great location. Still close to the main streets of Manarola without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Easy access to the train station, restaurants and had a great view of Manarola. Host greeted us personally and gave us lots of great advice

Gianluca was an amazing host! He was such an excellent communicator before and during our entire stay! He met us at the apartment, gave thorough instructions, and was so welcoming! He had made booked us a reservation for dinner at Trattoria Billy which was one of the best dinners we had in Italy for 14 days-excellent seafood! Manarola is a wonderful town to stay while hiking and exploring all 5 of the villages. Our place was beautiful, well stocked, and like having 2 apartments. I just cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay is and Cinque Terre is a magical place. Enjoy hikes while you’re here for sure and be ready to climb! 2 recommendations would be from Monterosso to Vernazza and another from Corniglia to Vernazza( great spot to Stop for cappuccino and treat)Great view and pictures here! This apartment has everything you will need to have an amazing time- book today. Thank you again Gianluca for your kindness and hospitality- I will be back for sure!

This was our favorite stay of our whole trip! This apartment was perfect, updated and very clean. Gianluca is the best host we’ve ever had and he is so passionate about Manarola and this rental. This is the only VRBO we’ve stayed in that is treated as a home and not a rental and it was so nice. It’s also close to the train station! I absolutely recommend Manarola (it was our favorite town) and this rental. The only thing I would’ve liked to see was a drying rack as the clothes line wasn’t enough for 4 people but it’s the only recommendation I could even think of to share. There are A LOT of inclines and steps in Manarola (and the other towns). No matter which direction you go when you leave the apartment, there’s a workout involved. It was manageable for us but sharing for those who may be less mobile. Keep a water bottle with you (there’s 2 stores close by). Book this rental, eat all the gelato and enjoy your trip!!!

We are a family of three travelling through Italy and staying in several rentals. This one is right at the top of our list: Guanluca met us after we got off our train and took us to the property. The views are exceptional and there was not a lot of stairs (rare for this area). He even made us reservations in town for dinner as we were a little late arriving by train. Our daughter took the second suite which had a full shower etc. I found the beds comfortable, the place was exceptionally clean and it was also very quiet. Would definitely stay here again and strongly suggest this property to anyone looking in the area!

The apartment was everything we expected - good size, clean and comfortable. It had a wonderful view from the balcony of the village and sunset. The separate bedroom next to the main apartment was perfect for my adult daughter. We were together but had privacy. Gianluca was wonderful! My husband and I (retired) and our niece and her partner (both teachers) spent 3 wonderful nights at this lovely Manarola property. The apartment was spotless with everything needed to prepare snacks at home before going out for delicious meals. All the essential cooking equipment is provided too but we took advantage of the lovely restaurants in the town. The view from the apartment is gorgeous, the amenities perfect and Gianluca is the most hospitable host we have encountered. He met us at the tunnel coming out of the train station, helped with our luggage (much appreciated as it’s a bit of a climb to the apartment), provided delicious lemon jam for each room as a welcome gift ( he makes it himself), made restaurant recommendations and even reservations for us one night when we had trouble reaching the restaurant. Gianluca was born and raised in Manarola and knows everything there is to know about the town and also the Cinque Terre in general. Manarola may be more sedate than Monterosso or Riomaggiore but it’s a gem! The hikes from Manarola are great and we found the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Don’t hesitate to book with Gianluca. You will not be disappointed!

Couldn't have had a better stay. The host meet us as we came out of the train station and even helped us with our bags. Yes, it's up the hill like every other place in this area but not a bad walk. The host provided recommendations for dinner and we loved them all. The apartments were very clean with updated showers, sinks, appliances, etc. Great water and town views from both apartments. We would definitely stay here again if we returned.

The walk up the stairs was absolutely worth it as we loved the apartment and the view and the location in general. Our party of 2 senior couples enjoyed this beautiful roomy apartment for six days. The only negative would be the amount of stairs up to the apartment but anyone who knows Manarola knows it is built on the “vertical “. We all enjoyed our delightful host and would highly recommend it.

Perfectly situated in my opinion the best of the 5 villages of Cinque Terre. Owners of the property are great hosts - met us near tunnel exit and escorted us to apt. and explained how things worked, where local restaurants were located (and which ones were good), where to buy groceries, etc. Apartment was spotless, beds were comfortable, and it was overall an excellent place to stay for the four nights we were there.

This is an excellent apartment and is well equipped. The whole place was very clean and it was well serviced with clean towels three times during our week's stay. Access is up a slope followed by 28 steps, not any problem to us. Inside the front door there are 5 steps down to the apartment itself. 3 minute walk down to the shops and restaurants and the tunnel for the train station. Donatella made us very welcome and was always available should we have had any issues. Negatives? Well, in March the balcony does not catch the sun and that's the only negative, we had a great stay.
