The privacy of the place and serenity. Basics were provided, including sufficient milk.

I liked that the room/space had a lot of character. It was decorated in a very cool manner and it felt very spacious. The owner was also very friendly upon our arrival. Private parking is such a plus and the grounds are very pretty and well kept.
I felt that the facilities were just a little incomplete. There was an almost useful kitchen which included a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and etc but not a stovetop, and with place for 6 people to sleep upstairs, it seems a little strange there wouldn't even be just a small single plate electric cooker, or the likes. The bathroom also smelled just a little bit, but perhaps one could just write that off as the odour of the stone building, but I wasn't sure. The switches for the lights were genuinely quite difficult to locate. We only located the upstairs light switch on our last morning, simply by chance. There were also no pictures of inside the actual room on booking.com, although they are good, so don't see why they are not online.
