A real hideaway close to city center

The site is in a side street close to the habour pier with some parking opportunities at front door. The place itself is very quiet and consists of a complete floor level that has been turned into solo rooms fully equipped with modern style furniture and a super pretty bathroom. We were welcomed by the owner and shown around explaining all the amenities. Don't be disappointed by the look of the building from outside looking a bit scrappy but the inside is very well made up and the breakfast terrace is sooo cool.

You will stay close to the habour and therefore is normal to be eventually awakened by the cry of the seagulls in the morning.

From the outside the house looks a bit scetchy tbh. But when you step inside and you open the door towards the apartment, it is just stunning! It was so big, clean, it smelled good! We had everything we needed. Amazing room, enough space, two beautiful terraces and a great kitchen. The facility offered possibility to wash, cook yourself, or just take a late night snack from the kitchen: Barbara’s homemade cake! It was amazing and we will definitely return if we come back to Elba!

The Perfect Place to Stay When Visiting Elba

Everything, the rooms are very modern and have everything you need. Barbara is the best host you could ask for always able to help with any requests or needs. The breakfast is a great touch that puts this above other places we’ve stayed previously. I would highly recommend this place for any stay on Elba.

Beautiful place

The house is a work of art. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. It's very exciting to have snacks and drinks available in the communal kitchen! The spaces are really well designed. And it was great to have breakfast at a big table with other guests. It was lovely to be able to pop out to the close beach for a swim before breakfast.

Great place to stay for exploring Elba

This was a great place to stay for exploring Elba, especially when visiting Elba for the first time. Close to just about evcerything: the boat, buses, the historic center, restaurants and bars, but still relatively quiet. We really appreciated the breakfast, with a wide selection (including home baked cakes ;-)!). The room was nicely decorated, and Barbara was such a welcoming hostess!

As so often in Italy, the bed was too hard for our taste.

Loved it!

This was one of my favourite places to stay in my entire Italy trip. Great customer service from the start to the very end from Barbara and Andrea, really going over and above for their guests. The breakfast was such a joy to look forward to, they change up the cake of the day etc, will make you a cup of coffee and fresh juice. The hosts have clear attention to detail in all aspects from the room to the breakfast and the facilities available. Such an organised system they are running - excellent at what they do. I loved my time her and thank you for making this experience so warming!

Best accomodation we ever had! It was a bit out of our normal price range but 100% worth it! Barbara is the most amazing host! Comfortable beds, "real" duvets (not too hot but more than the common tiny bedsheets many accomodations have), enough space for our lugguage, air conditioner, big and nice shower Amazing breakfast: all you can/ want to eat buffet, you can use the kitchen the whole day, own shelf in the fridge, fresh cake every morning and afternoon, water to use all day. Rooftop to have breakfast (or your own lunch/dinner) on, you can also dry your clothes/bikinis outside in the sun if needed. Max. 10min from each ferries, beach, central bus station and town. You won't regret staying here. We were sceptical reading all the good reviews, but all of them are true!

This place has a good location in the middle of Portoferraio, not too far from the port. Barbara, the host, is a very kind person that makes people feel welcomed. Breakfast was very good and rich, rooms are clean and with airconditioned. While the place is not cheap compared to other places in Portoferraio I am not sure that you will get a much better deal, at least concerning the bed and breakfast places.

Super B&B in Top Lage

Die beiden Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit – man hat sofort gemerkt, dass sie ihre Arbeit mit Freude machen. Jeden Morgen bereiteten sie liebevoll das Frühstück und den Kaffee zu und die Terrasse, auf der man frühstücken und verweilen konnte, war sehr einladend. Auch die Lage war super – direkt am Hafen von Portoferraio.

Unsere Zimmertür war aus Glas, wodurch man leider recht viel vom Flur bzw. von aussen hören konnte. Da die Unterkunft direkt am Hafen liegt, war es bereits früh morgens recht laut. Die Fenster haben allerdings gut gedämmt - deshalb wirklich nur halb so schlimm.

Einmalig tolle Unterkunft! Direkt am Hafen von Portoferraio gelegen! Zum Strand ist es fünf Minuten, die Altstadt liegt auch direkt um die Ecke! Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich schnell wie zuhause! Das Frühstück ist top, frisch zubereitet mit vielen hausgemachten Spezialitäten! Man kann sich immer bedienen mit Wasser, Kaffee, Tee und Kuchen! Die ganze Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und freundlich! Das Frühstück auf der hübschen Terrasse einzunehmen war ein zusätzlicher Genuss! Danke für alles, wir haben noch zwei Nächte angehängt, es war einfach schön!

Barbara e la sua famiglia ci hanno aperto le porte di casa loro come se fossimo parte della famiglia, ci hanno fatto sentire subito a nostro agio , cosa che ci è piaciuta tantissimo. La casa è molto bella molto ben arredata, curata nel minimo dettaglio e tenuta benissimo, ha un arredamento molto particolare ed elegante. La camera bellissima ed i letti molto comodi. La colazione sia dolce che salata, alcuni dolci addirittura fatti in casa, se poi si vuole uova strapazzate o altro le preparano sul momento...TOP!!! Abbiamo girato il mondo quindi soggiorno in svariati hotel, appartamenti e b&b ma, la sensazione di benessere e rilassatezza che ci ha dato al 28 b&b l'abbiamo trovata veramente in pochissimi posti, quindi tantissimi complimenti a Barbara e alla sua famiglia... Sicuramente torneremo... Peccato poter dare solo 10 come punteggio perché al 28b&b come minimo si merita 30!!!!!

Il B&B è veramente molto bello e accogliente. Curato nei dettagli, non ho trovato un solo difetto. Barbara e Andrea sono persone squisite, il posto è facilmente raggiungibile e ben posizionato, vicino all’imbarco dei traghetti, bar, ristoranti e spiaggia. La colazione impeccabile, la stanza bellissima e molto accogliente, e il letto comodissimo, cosa molto rara. Lo area consiglio
