La Residenza del Proconsolo

High ceilings, wood beams, AC, and bed were wonderful. Laura was attentive and service was good. Location excellent … a few minutes walk to everything in the center city. The RISTORANTE Vetreia Nextdoor was very good and Gabriella was personable and knowledgeable about Tuscan Cuisine and wine. There was construction near the building with scaffolding that made it difficult to find the accommodations but neighbors were helpful and Laura communicated well via what’s app. The tile in the bathroom could use some attention and an extra comfy chair would have been welcomed. Please be advise future tenants about the formidable staircase that you need to navigate with luggage for most rooms. I was able to climb them but that might not be true for others. The web page doesn’t really described the access. All in all a positive experience.

Excellent location, nice big room, clean and big bathroom. The residence is at the city center. Everything is in working distance the cathedral, the Galleria de academia and the Bargello museum.

Breakfast included, please ignore people moaning. Genuinely good "treats" on offer. Bakery items in room, yogurts, orange juice, waters all included. Room is huge! And next to the centre without much noise

Air con... To be honest there is air con and it does work. But it doesn't fill the room and I woke up very hot in the middle of the night.

Wonderful location right next to the Duomo! Cannot fault the view and the room is a generous size. It’s in a heritage building and the staff member Laura we spoke with on check in and ahead of arrival was so friendly and helpful.

There wasn’t anything to not like, the decor was as pictured and everything was great. There is 1 long staircase and no lift to get up to the rooms from street level.
