Second visit, every bit as good as the first. Carole and Michael are the best hosts - generous, helpful and informative, without being obtrusive. Their place is great for a stay for a few days and suited our needs perfectly.

A great place to stay for one night on business.

Carole was there to open the door and welcome me. She was a pleasant and caring host and had obviously taken a lot of trouble to provide all the facilities I could possibly want. The property was warm and quiet at night. The bed was comfortable. I would recommend Carole and her property and I would be happy to stay there again if I go to Peterborough. Carole provided an excellent breakfast and milk for making tea when I arrived.

Friendly, clean and comfortable.

We had a warm reception from the hosts and were guided around the accommodation. Carole and Michael have thought of everything you might need. The accommodation is very comfortable and clean. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

A brilliant comfortable stay with a wonderful host in a great quiet location.

The location, the friendliness received from Carole. Ease of access and especially the foods available for breakfast and the little extras in the fridge when we arrived. A parking space for the car.

Only a suggestion.......As the temperatures were excessively high 33°C in the day and 24°C at night a strong fan for the bedroom might be a consideration going forward as temperatures are increasing unfortunately.

Everything we could possibly need for our overnight stay. Clean and comfortable. Thoughtful in provision of some toys, books etc for young children and second kettle and mugs etc in bedroom if you like a cuppa in bed. Plentiful breakfast of cereal yoghurt juice and toast

Perfect for a weary traveller needing peace, quiet and a good sleep.

Utterly delightful. Really lovely to have my own little sitting room with mini kitchenette so I could heat a microwave meal and have my cereal in peace and not have to buy a take away. The hosts were lovely, when I mentioned I’d been poorly she rushed to kitchen to close the door so the smells didn’t get to my room. Bed was REALLY cosy and soft and neighbourhood totally silent and peaceful. Definitely staying here again.

I had a warm welcome, was shown to the rooms and was offered bread for toast in the morning. The bed was very very comfy! Everything you needed was provided, lots of variety for breakfast. There were even cafetiere and nice ground coffee. Really nice to have a fridge and milk, water, yoghurt, butter, juice provided. It was like a little flat with two rooms. The property met my expectations in a lot of ways. Overall it is a good, safe place to stay. The area is very nice. No worries about the safety of your car overnight.

The bathroom wasn't clean. The bedroom was lovely but the light streaming in woke me up at 5am. Would be useful to fit some blackout curtains/blinds for lighter sleepers. The description said private rooms during your stay. I wasn't expecting anyone to go in either of the rooms while I was out but when I came back some things I had organised in the lounge had been altered. Then I read the description in more detail and it says daily housekeeping. Perhaps something to hang on the doors would be good to indicate if you want housekeeping or not. A minor thing but for anyone interested, the property doesn't have its own private front door. You go in the host's front door into their hallway and the rooms are to the left.

A great place to stop, - more like an apartment hotel than a plain B&B

The property has a separate large lounge with comfy charis, a television and a kitchentte. The bed was very comfortable and the room airey - I had a great night's sleep.

only cereal provided tea coffee bottled water yoghurts and juice never saw the lady

Very old fashion no smoke alarms weird shower step on the carpet in bedroom shower head grotty in the toilet a broken tap small sink plug wouldn’t stay up so sink filled up every time breakfast room not good small sink grotty dish clothe not very clean In fact we only really slept there and ate breakfast on a small table with a thick dark brown plastic table clothe had to do our own washing up There are no rules or regulations about fire No smoke alarms or night light in case of fire thought it very rude that the hosts never asked us if everything was ok as I said never saw the lady at all

Our hosts, Carole and Michael are exceptional. Caring, friendly, warm, and they really make us feel at home. The property has a lovely personal touch, and everything in the premises was really nice, clean and easy but they are really outstanding and did their best to make us comfortable. It was really feeling like part of a family. We highly recommend this place!

Cozy Stay in Peterborough

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Orton Waterville Residence in Peterborough for a two-night getaway, and overall, our experience was very positive. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, with a bed that provided us with a restful sleep throughout our stay. The bathroom amenities, including the provided shower gel and shampoo, were a nice touch and added to the convenience of our stay. One of the highlights for us was the breakfast selection. We were pleasantly surprised to find a variety of options available, including coffee, tea, porridge, bread, jam, butter, milk, yogurt, cereal, and juice. It was great to have everything we needed to start our day right at our fingertips. Overall, we had a pleasant experience here. The comfortable room, excellent breakfast selection, and thoughtful amenities made for a memorable stay.

However, we did encounter a minor issue with the window in our room. Upon returning to our room one evening, we discovered that the window had been left open and we were unable to be properly closed. As a result, we experienced some discomfort due to the cold air during the night. While this was a minor inconvenience, it did detract slightly from an otherwise enjoyable stay.
