Gorgeous big room in a great location. We had the suite. Super to have the kitchen space as well, with tea, coffee and fridge.

Lo Studio di Joyce - A truly friendly place in Trieste

Due to traffic we arrived an hour later than planned, but we were still very warmly welcomed. Andrea was very kind, informative and helpful. We recommend it to everyone, the accommodation is in a very good, central location.

Central, clean, good value, friendly host

Andrea, the host was friendly and efficient and his communication was excellent. The property is in an historic building with high ceilings on the first floor. My room was large and airy. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding and I slept very well. Although it was described as having an 'external' bathroom, the bathroom is private and accessed through a private vestibule containing a wardrobe, table and chairs accessible only to me. The bathroom was clean and the water was hot! WiFi worked well. There was tea and coffee available at all times for guests, and use of a fridge. On checking in I was given a voucher for each night I stayed allowing me to have a coffee and croissant at a little bar on the canal side nearby. The location of the property could not be more central, but I found my room to be very quiet.

Delighted by the space and location and beauty of the building. Andrea was kind and welcoming.

The location, history, and ample space made it the perfect place to spend our evenings in Trieste.

The beds and toilet seats could use some tightening, and I would recommend a couch or divan in the room, but otherwise, it was perfect.

Lo Studio di Joyce

Me and my friend were staying at Lo Studio di Joyce for one night only and it was absolutely perfect. Accomodation is very clean, big and you have everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything we needed. Everything was really clean. The location is perfect especially if you don't have a car because the apartment is 2 minutes walking from Canal Grande and maybe 5 to 7 minutes from Piazza di Unità. Andrea is amazing host who will make your stay even better. He is very polite and easy-going so you don't need to be afraid that something will miss.

It’s location was perfect, we were made to feel very welcome and at home, comfortable room with plenty of space, facilities to make coffee etc and breakfast at a small cafe around the corner was lovely.

Gorgeous accommodation in a divine city with a very welcoming host.

We were on a late flight but that was no problem to Andrea who waited to welcome us to his B & B in a beautiful old building in gorgeous Trieste. Our room was very clean, comfortable, well lit and spacious. Breakfast was fresh croissants and coffee in a cafe just around the corner....with the canal on one side and the Italian Navy in their crisp white uniforms strolling past on the other, the view was great! My daughter and her 3 children were also staying in another B & B in Trieste and had to vacate their accommodation early on day of check out. As there was no one coming to the Andrea's B & B that night it was no problem for my daughter to store her luggage with us and for us to stay until the evening as our train to Croatia was not until 5.30pm. We found Andrea to be very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend Studio Di Joyce and I look forward to returning one day.

fantastic stay in a wonderful apartment in an amazing city Ciao Trieste

it was so close to the centre of Trieste everything was within a few minutes walk easy access to bus/train stations the restaurant’s/bars and visitor sights were literally 2 minutes away very attractive property with links to the “Joyce” vibe in Trieste

not a huge issue but for very elderly there is no lift it does state this very clearly and I am in no way complaining it was totally and 100% ok for me

A beautiful stay in a magical city

The host at The Studio di Joyce is solicitous without being invasive, very kind and responsive. The location is perfect, in a minute from the Canale grande and in the middle of the Austrian historical district. If COVID prevented our host to propose his usual breakfast, the alternative eh found- a pleasant cafe on the Canale - Was much appreciated. The room and bathroom were very clean and nicely furnished! We’ll come again!

Our room at Lo Studio di Joyce was super tidy and well kept. The windows and curtains kept the room quiet while sleeping, it has a very good bed and mattress. Everything was in perfect shape, the whole place is furnished tastefully. Breakfast was great with very good espresso. Andrea, our host made us feel welcome. He was very kind, helpful and even made suggestions about what places we could visit during our stay in Trieste. The place is also right in the center of the city, in walking distance from the train station, very close to the Canale, the Molo Audace, several bus stations, restaurants and a supermarket close by.
