Venice Arsenale Biennale

Wir wurden vom Gastgeber sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet und komfortabel Die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Dusche ist neu. Alles ist sehr sauber. Die kleine Terrasse haben wir für das Frühstück genutzt . Es ist sehr ruhig. Die Klimaanlage bei Außentemperaturen um die 32 Grad war sehr angenehm. In wenigen zu Fuß ist man an der Anlegestelle vom Arsenale. Nur wenig weiter entfernt gibt es einen Supermarkt, der sehr gut sortiert ist. Im Umkreis gibt es viele Restaurants. Wir können das Apartment sehr empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The warm welcome from the host, the location and our familiarity with the area, away from the crowds, the close proximity of the property to a Vaporetto stop and local bars and restaurants. Recently refurbished bathroom and kitchen.

You need to be fit to climb the narrow staircase, but not a problem for us. The bedroom would benefit from a second bedside table and the ability to be access Netflix on the TV would have been a bonus as there are no English speaking programmes - not that we could find.

Lovely homely flat all on one level and on the second floor, so no one above us. Peaceful and minutes away from the Arsenale and a short walk to St Marks square. Agostino met us and was very helpful. We appreciated the use of his guest cards to the Guggenheim museum. Lovely toiletries and great to have the cupboard stocked with teabags, sugar, olive oil, salt, pepper. We had everything we needed, blankets, soft pillows, quiet aircon and a fabulous shower.
