Venice Luca's house

Everything we needed as a family we found in Lucas beautiful, ancient house with very clean rooms. In addition to this, the location close (but not too close) to San Marco couldn't be better. Thank you also for the kind and helpful communication we had. Overall highly recommended and deserved all/full stars I could give.

The owners keep communication with me. Giving me guidance, as to which boats to use to reach the property. Contact details of the owners were sent to me well in advance to make sure I knew where to go to meet them. They met us at the water bus (vaporetto) station and accompanied us to the flat in order to show us how everything worked. They were polite, friendly and helpful. The apartment was very close to the water bus (vaporetto) station; in a area where it is more peaceful and you felt at home. Having less people around made you appreciate the surrounding much more.

They really tried to make our stay pleasant. The apartment would be great for two people for a long stay. It was lovely that there was a sleeper couch, but rather recommend that option for short stays or for small children if people choose to stay for longer than a week. Due to us being there for more than a week, the sleeper couch made you long for a bed. The portable aircons they provided during the unexpected heatwave was lovely, but the pipe kept popping out the wall, which made the room warm if you did not notice it as soon as it happened - as soon as I mentioned it to the hosts, they did try to help find solutions to prevent this from constantly happening. All-in-all the hosts always tried their best to help where they could - Lovely people.

The air con was a life saver, no problem despite the heat wave. The host was so helpful organised a taxi for us back to the airport. Really lovely everything was perfect

We loved the vintage building! Luca’s mom met us and gave us all the instructions to use everything in the apartment. She also recommended conveniently located restaurants. In addition, she left snacks and water for us as well as having supplies of coffee and tea. It was so nice to have a washer, dryer, and drying rack as we are on an extended trip. We laughed every time we squeezed into the tiny elevator, and we found our stay to be a joyful adventure. And the bed was comfortable too!💗
