Sara in Venice

Excelente localização. Apartamento impecável, bem decorado e bem equipado, muito confortável. E Sara é uma pessoa extremamente gentil. Obrigado.

Très bel appartement avec beaucoup d'espace et décoré dans l'esprit vénitien. Le contact avec la propriétaire est parfait: elle est très réactive et fournit beaucoup d'explications. L'appartement est situé dans un quartier très calme situé loin de le foule des touristes. L'appartement est très bien équipé. Le lit est très confortable

L'annonce "vue sur mer" n'est pas correcte. On ne voit ni la mer, ni même le canal depuis l'appartement. L'appartement est sombre, même en ouvrant tous les volets, la lumière ne pénètre pas.

The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and conveniently located.

Despite the very high rating of this property, it turned out to be my worst accommodation experience on Booking.com. As a few other guests have also mentioned in their reviews, construction work was taking place at the property during my stay. While I understand that maintenance and renovation work is sometimes necessary, the host failed to mention this anywhere - neither in the property listing nor in our WhatsApp communication before arrival. I only discovered it on my own when I arrived and saw that the entire building was covered with scaffolding. When I asked the host about the situation, I was assured that the work was limited to the roof and would not cause any inconvenience or noise. Unfortunately, this was not true. Even if one could accept keeping the windows closed at all times and losing the advertised canal view, there was construction noise starting before 8 am, workers constantly gathering right outside the windows, and piles of construction waste right in front of the windows. Unfortunately, this significantly affected my stay in this apartment. Afterwards, I immediately contacted Booking.com as the property description did not reflect the actual situation and raised a complaint. Unsurprisingly, my request was forwarded to the host and denied. To make matters worse, the host falsely claimed that I had been offered alternative accommodation, which never happened. This left a very unpleasant impression. On the positive side, the apartment itself was clean and the location was convenient. However, the lack of transparency regarding the ongoing construction and the host's handling of the situation overshadowed these positives and left me feeling misled as a guest.
