About this house rental
The beach house is perfectly suited to families, wheelchair accessible and pet friendly with a fully fenced section a swing set and tree house in the back yard. Sit outside and listen to the waves crashing on the soft white sand a block away. Waikouaiti has a couple of taverns, Fish and Chip/ Chinese takeaway, cafe, bakery, petrol and dairy. A short drive down the road is another gorgeous beach of Karitane or wander a bit further to the Moeraki Boulders or historic town of Oamaru. Dunedin is 30min away.

Pets allowed with prior approval as long as you clean up after them.
Wheelchair accessible please enquire.
Supply own linen and towels, self catering.
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you must: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels); remove all rubbish from the property. Leave it as you found it ready for the next guests.
Bedroom 1 & 2: one queen bed, pillows, electric blanket, duvet and blanket provided.
Bedroom 3: two sets of bunks (sleeps 4) pillows, duvets, blankets supplied.
Bathroom 1: Bath, toilet, sink, heater, heated towel rail, recently updated.
Bathroom 2: Shower, toilet, washing machine and sink recently fully renovated.
A cupboard full of books and family games provided.
A tree house and swing/ slide in the fully fenced yard.
Plenty of parking and quiet friendly neighbours.

This place had all we needed for a lovely weekend with family. Plenty of room. The dogs were safe and happy in the secure back yard. The children loved it too.

A lovely crib, nice and quiet, all you hear are the ocean waves and bird song. Had a lovely meal at Golden Fleece Pub and really enjoyed our short stay. Will make it longer next time.

The house is lovely but with any self clean bach you're dependant on the previous holiday people to find your bach nice. We had mice disturbing our 1st night sleep, they were in the wardrobe of the master bedroom and I had found food residue in that room too, there were no traps in the house and shops were shut so the mice did some running and scratching about on night 1. We were able to buy some traps during our second day and caught three mice and then none on our second night so we are confident we got them all but it wasn't a restful time unfortunately.
Our kids were comfy in the bunk room and I enjoyed the newish shower. Our kids loved the cubby house.
