Perfect area for us. Hosts lit the fire so it was lovely and warm when we arrived. A lovely touch I thought.

Lots of space and adequate heating even though it is a big place. The kids also loved playing with the toys in the lounge
It would’ve been ideal to have a fire guard as we had young kids with us

Very interesting well maintained and improved old house. I piece of living history, They really don’t build them like this anymore. Lovely orchard on the property with ripe plums and apples! Huge space enough beds for 11-12 people easily. The perfect house for family reunions or a large gathering of friends. The host was very gracious.
Had plug in floral scent diffuser's, personally not a fan, some folks like them…
