beautiful location, set on the slopes of a valley with fantastic views of the Pyrenees, we could hear the bells of cows in the upland pastures. Eric the host was very welcoming too.

The location is just perfect if you like solitude. The views were stunning. This place really is lovely. The garden is almost south facing so was an absolute joy to spend time in after a day exploring the area.
The owners are great, Eric speaks excellent English so no issues if you're not a French speaker.
Only faults were lack of fan/s as it gets a little too warm and the mattress was too hard, both were bring rectified within the next few days after our stay apparently.
The oven didn't work which was a bit of a pain but the gas hob, electric grill , microwave and a BBQ was more than sufficient for our needs. The Saturday market (particularly) and the Intermarche supermarket in Bagneres are recommended.
