About this house rental
At the foot of the famous Col du Tourmalet and the Pic du Midi site, on the road to the 2 passes.
Townhouse with terrace, capacity 7 people comfort, but possibility of an eighth berth. ( contact us)
Roadside. A lot of visitors in winter and summer, the road serving the resort of La Mongie and many other activities in the valley. You should know this. House therefore more oriented towards sports holidays or oriented towards outdoor activities.
Ideal also for low budget holidays.
2 parking spaces. One in front of the house on the gravelled square, and one behind in front of the garage door. Room for skis, bicycles and possibly motorbike. 15km from the resort of La Mongie.
Many activities for this holiday focused on sport and discovery:
- 25 minutes from the resort of La Mongie Grand Tourmalet, the Pic du Midi and its Unesco listed site.
- Access to all the mythical passes, the Tourmalet, the Aspin, the Hourquette d'Ancizan and many other magnificent routes in the middle mountains for cyclists and cycle tourists (Do not hesitate to consult me for itineraries).
- Numerous hiking and trail departures in the direct vicinity of the house and countless routes by taking your vehicle. (Do not hesitate to consult me on this subject as well)
- Many mountain bike routes and the Barèges park for downhill skiers.
- Many climbing sites including the cliffs of Trassouet, 10 minutes from the house.
- Via ferrata, canyoning, horse riding, trout fishing, dog sledding.
- Discover the Lesponne Valley, its waterfalls and its walking access to the Blue Lake.
- 25 minutes from Payolle, its lake and its false air of Canada.
- Visit Campan and its mounaque museum.
- Discover the Baronnies, its mid-mountain landscapes, the Esparos chasm and many pretty little villages.
- 40 minutes from Lourdes.
- 10 minutes from the cave of Médous.
- 15 minutes from Bagnères de Bigorre, a spa town and its Aquensis thermal complex.
- Visit the castle of Mauvezin, the Abbey of Escaladieu, the Donjon des aigles, etc...
- Many farms and other producers of succulent local products to recover from all these activities :).
