Charming cottage with character, Midi Pyrenees, Campan Valley.

My adult family and I stayed for four wonderful nights in this charming beautifully situated cottage. The Campan Valley is a piece of Heaven on earth, the cottage itself had everything you could possibly want for a family stay and we cooked most of our meals there and played board games in the evening. We met Jean Michel on the evening of our arrival and he had baked a lovely cake to welcome us. We had several outings and hikes in the beautiful surrounding countryside and the sight of the mountains in the morning and the beautiful birdsong is a balm to the soul. There was even a blackbird nesting under the eaves of the cottage with a nest of little ones. We hope to return to this beautiful house and I want to thank our hosts Chantal and 'Mick' for a holiday we will always treasure. Mary Pooley and family.

We were a couple and family of 4 with children aged 8 and 16. The cottage was in a beautiful location with wonderful views. The interior and garden were very lovingly done up - it felt like a real home. The house was very well equipped. We had easy access from there to lots of lovely hikes and there was also a nice golf course nearby which we played on once. The owners were in touch regularly and very helpful.

Bruno and Chantal are fabulous hosts. The home is beyond lovely! Our vacation was planned based on the Tour de France. We wanted to ride two of the hills before the race came through, and to ride to the top of the Tourmalet to watch stage 6. It was a complex trip to organize, including high quality bike rentals, mapping locations and local expertise. Bruno and Chantal helped us with make this dream come true. Their home is creatively decorated, very comfortable and thoughtfully stocked. The views are incomparable, we watched the clouds move in and out of the mountains and loved the colorful garden plantings. We were met by their house manager Ami, who explained everything we needed to know during our stay, she even drove to the market so that we could follow her in our car to get our initial groceries. We have stayed in many rental homes over the past 20 years and this one really stands above the rest. Thank you!

Lovely quaint chalet, with fantastic views and lovely garden to sit in. The chalet was well equipped and very comfortable. We had two weeks of great cycling. Great spot to access all the great climbs.
