About this house rental
An authentic 205 m² stone-and-wood Pyrenean sheepfold, south-facing and set on a wooded plot above Arreau at an altitude of 750 m. It offers a secluded feel yet is just 250 m from the village square and local shops, and 800 m from a "Carrefour Contact" supermarket.
ARREAU, a designated "Town of Art and History," sits at the crossroads of the Aure, Louron, Bareilles, Barrancoueu, and Ardengost valleys, at the foot of two legendary Tour de France mountain passes: the Col d'Aspin and the Col de Peyresourde. Nearby passes include Azet, Hourquette d'Ancizan, Portet, and Tourmalet. It is just 30 minutes from Spain (Upper Aragon with its canyons—a guaranteed change of scenery).
