Family Hotel Sofi

This was a cute little place and the cleanliness was next level. The location was great to get about and it was touch to have a pool to use. The room and balcony were of a good standard.

The bed was a little bit too soft for me but i like a very firm mattress. I would have liked to have been nearer to the Old Town, as there was more of a vibe there. It was very quiet here.

A small, spotlessly clean family run hotel. A lovely welcome from the family who couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable. A decent size room with plenty of drawer space, comfy beds, lovely bathroom, very nice pool area and a lovely clean pool. Not a large pool but definitely large enough. If you are looking for a clean, cosy hotel with a peaceful and relaxing ambiance then this definitely fits the bill!

Not a problem for us but be aware the hotel is up a slight slope from the beach and restaurants, those with poor mobility or wheelchairs may struggle.

The location in new town is ideal to have a quiet sleep. Within a few minutes you can reach the taxi or minibus to go to the beaches. Walk 10mins and you'll be the Sozopol main beach area. The room was a good size. The pool and patio area are relaxing. Best part is the family managing the hotel. They're all friendly, attentive and upon arrival I got a map with good recommendations of where to go for food. There are a few bakeries nearby as well.

The room doesn't have blackout curtains, so you wake up from sunrise. The room has a desk, but it doesn't have a chair. The space to put the chair is occupied by a fridge. Wifi speed was with up and downs. Sometimes it was as slow as 4mb/s, other times it was ok and up to 60mb/s. You can work and have video calls, but keep 4g of your phone as back up. I was the bathroom and bedding to be a bit better given the price. It was still during high season, and not a major concern for me.

Great location and you can tell the property is maintained amazingly. Everything was super clean and there was daily cleaning (which you can opt out of). The staff are friendly and helpful and care about their guests! There is a bar/cafe in addition to the pool which is super convenient! The hotel itself was quiet at night and it was easy to relax while in our room. The room has all amenities you need, including fridge/freezer and AC. We are so happy with our stay and will be looking to re-book next time we're in Sozopol!
