Kandrovi Sozopol

Lovely centrally located family-run hotel. The owners had closed up for winter but Booking.com hadn’t realised/processed the closure. The owners quickly opened up and made a room for me at very short notice. A lovely kind gesture and I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Kandrovi Hotel for a family vacation with our 11-year-old, and it was a great experience. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, and the owners and staff are some of the friendliest people we’ve met while traveling. They really made us feel welcome. We booked the breakfast option, which turned out to be an excellent choice. Every morning there was something a little different—varieties of cheese, fresh fruit, eggs, and yogurt—always fresh and delicious, and plenty to keep us going for the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a short walk to both the Old Town and Harmani Beach. Even though it’s so close to all the restaurants and activities, our room was quiet and relaxing, which was perfect for us as a family. The onsite parking was also very convenient since we had a car. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. Our child loved it, we felt comfortable and well taken care of, and we’d definitely stay here again if we return to Sozopol.

Hotel is amazing: clean, cozy, comfortable, with everything you need. Location is perfect: 5 minutes from the beach, super close to the main street with food, drinks and shops. You can get to the old town in around 10-15 minutes by having a relaxed walk. Hosts are welcoming and always ready to help. Can't complain at all, everything was good, definitely can recommend this hotel.

The best advantage of the hotel is its location - just in 300 m walking distance from the beach. The hotel room also has a small fridge ( which is great for storing food from the nearby stores), also a kettle. The room was cleaned every day.

The lady host was rude to me when on arrival I merely asked questions on the working conditions of the different room facilities. As an answer she said that I didn’t read anything about them obviously. She probably decided that as I speak her language allows her to show her lack of basic customer services skills and respect to the poor customers like me. Unfortunately, this initial bad experience wiped out all the great efforts the family running the hotel were making and made me re think whether to repeat a holiday in Sozopol.
