Kandrovi Sozopol

Very close to the beach and the main street of the city. The room was spacious and clean and the people from the staff were very nice and helpful.

I liked everything

I was immediately greeted by very happy and friendly owners. A family who did their utmost to assist me in my needs. Kandrovi Sozopol, was such a magical and beautiful destination. I stayed 4 nights and wished it was longer! Such an amazing place, on the stunning Black Sea. A holiday that I will treasure. I loved Bulgaria and all it had to offer!

Lovely centrally located family-run hotel. The owners had closed up for winter but Booking.com hadn’t realised/processed the closure. The owners quickly opened up and made a room for me at very short notice. A lovely kind gesture and I would definitely stay again.

The best advantage of the hotel is its location - just in 300 m walking distance from the beach. The hotel room also has a small fridge ( which is great for storing food from the nearby stores), also a kettle. The room was cleaned every day.

The lady host was rude to me when on arrival I merely asked questions on the working conditions of the different room facilities. As an answer she said that I didn’t read anything about them obviously. She probably decided that as I speak her language allows her to show her lack of basic customer services skills and respect to the poor customers like me. Unfortunately, this initial bad experience wiped out all the great efforts the family running the hotel were making and made me re think whether to repeat a holiday in Sozopol.
