A lovely cottage attached the owner’s farmhouse, situated on their working sheep and beef farm, in the pretty rural hamlet of Rhos-y-Gwaliau, two miles from Bala and sleeping two people in one bedroom.

Waedog Bach is a lovely cottage, attached to the owner’s Grade II listed farmhouse, on their working sheep and beef farm, in the rural hamlet of Rhos-y-Gwaliau, two miles from Bala. It sleeps two people in one double bedroom and has a bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside there is a gravelled garden with furniture and a firepit, as well as off road parking. Bala has a fine selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, and there’s also a golf course to practice your swing and mountain bike trails for keen cyclists in your party. Alternatively, for a more leisurely pastime, take a trip on the Bala Lake Steam Railway, or spend a day exploring Barmouth or Harlech, both with superb sandy beaches. No matter what you decide to, Waedog Bach is the perfect cottage for a Welsh holiday to remember.

Note: Although this cottage does not accept pets, as it is situated on a working farm, the owner’s working dogs live here and may meet you on arrival.

Town: Rhos-y-Gwaliau is a small rural hamlet situated in countryside on the eastern side of the Snowdonia National Park, just over two miles from the lakeside town of Bala. The bustling market town of Bala is located at the head of Llyn Tegid, Bala’s famous lake, which is the largest natural lake in Wales. Renowned as a centre for great watersports, including fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and whitewater rafting, Bala is also has a range of interesting shops, inns and restaurants, as well as an historical town walk.
