Waedog Bach is a lovely cottage, attached to the owner’s Grade II listed farmhouse, on their working sheep and beef farm, in the rural hamlet of Rhos-y-Gwaliau, two miles from Bala. It sleeps two people in one double bedroom and has a bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside there is a gravelled garden with furniture and a firepit, as well as off road parking. Bala has a fine selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, and there’s also a golf course to practice your swing and mountain bike trails for keen cyclists in your party. Alternatively, for a more leisurely pastime, take a trip on the Bala Lake Steam Railway, or spend a day exploring Barmouth or Harlech, both with superb sandy beaches. No matter what you decide to, Waedog Bach is the perfect cottage for a Welsh holiday to remember.

Renowned as a centre for great watersports, including fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and whitewater rafting, Bala is also has a range of interesting shops, inns and restaurants, as well as an historical town walk.
