We had a perfect stay at The Stone Cottage. It was everything we needed for a restful night; peaceful, comfortable, cozy, quiet. Loved the welcome basket. The family were so welcoming, made our experience even better. It was so nice to spend time with their super friendly cats and dogs too!

What a gem

What a gem ! Beautiful cottage lots of surprises. Pictures don’t do it any justice. We arrived and were greeted , very friendly and gave us all Info needed. Lovely basket of bread butter tea coffee and jams plus milk in the fridge which was a lovely touch ! Was surprised by the entrance to the private firepit, it was everything we needed for a group of friends to spend time together! Was perfect ! Beds were comfy . And everything was soo clean ! We loved it 🥰 Definitely be coming again may bring the kids next time 🤣 🥳🥳 Thankyou soo much xx

The location and property were both amazing. The basic's of bread and milk etc provided were a really nice bonus. the hands off but there if needed approach by the hosts suited us perfectly.

A clean, comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting

This is a beautiful little cottage in a beautiful setting. Felt clean and comfortable and had all necessities. Shame we were only here for one night. Wayne was very personable and welcoming too, as was Buddy!

It’s not a dislike but the front door is rubbing on the floor so makes a noise.

One night stay in a beautiful, comfortable Welsh cottage in a stunning setting.

Beautiful little cottage in Tywyn. Even though there are lots and lots of country lanes, it was actually really easy to get to although the Sat Nav did take us to the wrong house initially! The hosts are fabulous, considerate people who went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. It was such a relief to find that Wayne had bought us some shopping: bread, milk, butter, jam, Welsh flat cakes ( not the proper name- I can’t remember it) and coffee and sugar. I thought we’d go out for breakfast in the morning but the place is miles from any shops. Also a problem on a Sunday as nearly everything is shut! The cottage is full of dvds and board games to keep people entertained and a gorgeous real log stove. We had a wonderful time and can’t thank our hosts enough!

Welcoming, peaceful location - perfect place to unwind

Lovely welcoming hosts. Quirky homely cottage, in a peaceful location - just the birdsong & distant sheep. Cosy living room with log burner tho we only used electric heater in evening. Useful having two ground floor bedrooms on the same level as the toilet/bathroom.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like - everything we needed for a comfortable stay was there, and the hosts were responsive when we needed help. A couple more kitchen utensils would be helpful. We purchased a sharp paring knife while we were there & spatula for the frying pan.

Besondere Unterkunft für ein paar Tage.

Sehr urig und viel Platz. Vor allem der Bereich unter dem Dach ist für Kinder super zum Spielen geeignet. Sehr nette Vermieter und viele liebevolle Details. Das Ganze ist noch „work in progress“ und hat viel Potential.

Das Duschwasser wird über einen Durchlauferhitzer erwärmt und diese ist mit seiner Hauptaufgabe etwas überfordert. Meistens nur lauwarm und schwankt auch mal zu kalt. Der Backofen hat auch schon bessere Tage gesehen und war sehr verschmutzt.

Ein wunderbares Cottage - gemütliches zu Hause für kurz oder lang!

In der Unterkunft fühlt man sich sofort heimisch. Es ist ruhig und urgemütlich. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Alles war sauber und wir bekamen etwas Brot, Milch, Marmelade, Butter, Tee und Kaffee zur Begrüßung. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und wir wären gerne länger dort geblieben!

Hier gibt es wirklich nichts, aber auch gar nichts, was mir einfallen würde. Nur, dass wir zu wenig Zeit mitgebracht hatten.

Sfeervol en compleet, leuke welkome attentie

Warm welkom met een lief pakketje brood, jams, koffie thee en verse melk in de koelkast, heel fijn, charmant en praktisch, alles bij de hand en gezellig ingericht. Fijn dat er een wastafel op de extra slaapkamer was, heerlijk warm en. mooi gelegen in een zee van groen.

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastheer. Het huisje was precies zoals we hoopten. Genoeg ruimte voor 5 personen. En de kinderen vonden de slaapzolder geweldig. Bij de cottage zit een prachtige tuin waar je van mag genieten.
