Pigi Cottage

The property has a fantastic view - the pictures really tell the truth! Stella is a fantastic host and you should also check out Stafylos Restaurant, which is just down the road. The kitchen was well equipped and the house is in very good shape. We will definitely return soon!

This is really something else! The views are amazing, both from the inside and outside of the lovely renovated cottage. Beautiful traditional architectural details - like the ceiling and the roof tiles. Very private, your closest neighbours are the roaming goats and chirping birds. Had one of the best sleeps in a long time, listening to the waves crashing on the rocks down in the bay. Walking distance to the beach and tavern, that were not really crowded (in September at least). Friendly and helpful host, that drove us to the port when we were leaving. Affordable for what you get! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer and rented a car to explore the island and buy some groceries to bring back to the cottage. The next time we will do that!

Nothing that we as a young couple disliked. But if you have weak legs, the hike up to the cottage is quite steep. Our host drove us and the luggage up the hill, so it’s probably not a problem if you arrange it with him. But you have to climb a ladder to reach the bedroom, so either way the cottage is not universally accessible. Internet also a bit unstable, and the bathroom not super modern. But that’s probably not why you are here! If you are looking for something unique, authentic and amazing, you shouldn’t think twice about staying at Pigi Cottage!

Amazing view and location, near Stafyllos beach which is among the best of the island. We had a cleaning service after three days, the cottage was clean and provided all basic stuff for our stay.

There were ants on the bed so we had to kill them everyday before sleep. No wifi signal inside cottage and no tv working (but who needs it there). We had trouble at check in because we had to wait the owner for half an hour because he is also the owner of the tavern.

Nice house ideal for two people with all necessary equipment to spend a few days on the island. The view is great and super enjoyable from the two terraces. There is down floor with kitchen and small bathroom while the first floor is for sleeping / leisure.

Honestly the position is a little far out from everything and very up hill to be walking to the beach or even the restaurant. Ideally if you are here you need a scooter (which we ended up renting) as it is the easiest way to move to and from the place. A car you would find difficult to park near the beach unless you ask the owner to use the restaurant car park. The bathrooms was essential and the shower could do with a curtain. Also the water supply pressure was not constant and would need to be fixed or difficult to take a nice shower after a day at the sea.
