The Location is Excellent and the view was incredible. The House is beautifully appointed and we wanted for nothing. he Hosts were nearby and helped us with everything but were not intrusive in any way.

Amazing property. Nicely decorated. Comfortable & cosy. Couldn't ask for a better location for our stay. The view from the kitchen, back bedroom & garden is stunning. Easy access for walks, the beach & the shops.The cottage is on a quiet street, we were lucky enough to get parked right oardutside the property, I'm not sure if this would be the same in high season, but there is free parking just passed the castle. Criccieth castle is one of the neighbours! Sadly, we didn't get chance to explore the castle, as we stayed over Christmas, so it was closed on the days we fancied going to have a look around. You can see the castle all lit up at night from the garden of Wendon, which is lovely. The host is very helpful & friendly, should you have any questions. We definitely would recommend this property for people wanting to stay & explore Criccieth itself, or the surrounding areas.

The only one downfall for us was that the garden isnt fully enclosed. We have 2 rescue dogs that have not mastered recall & that find the call of the sea a little too exciting, so had to stay on their leads in the garden. A nice 'glass wall' would be lovely, so not to disturb the gorgeous view, but give any guest with inquisitive dogs/children a little more peace of mind while out in the garden.
