Excellent shower, good storage in bedrooms, kitchen light and airy with all required. The lounge had a comfy sofa and chair, the view out of the lounge window is gorgeous. Main bedroom had a comfy bed and chair. Plenty of sockets in every room, with charging points on some. dressing tables had sockets close by.
Unfortunately I found the mattress in the second bedroom uncomfortable, the bed linen had a slightly stale smell, though were obviously clean. Hair dryer could be more powerful, it overheated when drying my hair. No blind in kitchen at the moment.

Amazing view, beautiful apartment, lovely comfy bed, very clean, great shower and bathroom facilities, being dog friendly a huge plus, ability to pop into Cadwaladers for delicious ice-cream. All in a lovely part of Wales.

Fabulous view from the lounge window. Good location. Helpful property manual. Comfortable beds and sofa etc.
Access to property is via side alley to cafe - this was quite dirty, litter etc and then access is upstairs past cafe toilet (door often left open so not a great welcome!). Inside the apartment itself was very clean.

Location excellent with an amazing view from living room window. Lovely that host left tea coffee milk & biscuits plus washing up supplies.
Noise from slamming doors by staff of establishment underneath.

Fantastic location and view from the main living area was exceptional.
Beds were extremely comfortable, fans provided for the hot nights.
Dog bowls and beds were provided.
The staff in the shop below were very friendly and helpful.
Everything was spotless.
The promised emailed instructions to gain entry didn't arrive (checked spam folder) and had to contact owner directly to get entry codes but after this everything was perfect.
The apartment is at the top of two flights of stairs (three flights to reach living area), not too much a problem but after a few days of walking the dogs 4 times a day plus the steep walk to the dog friendly beach area my legs were starting to ache.

Beautiful central setting very near the beach, restaurants etc, well laid out apartment with good facilities. Stunning views from the lounge to the sea and castle.
Some noise (slamming door?) from the cafe staff below the apartment but nothing too concerning.

The view is amazing, not just looking out to sea but of coastline too. Nice touch providing binoculars.
The property is modern, clean, comfortable, functional, and safe- I see good care had been taken to provide gates on the stairs, smoke alarms/extinguishers, date label the milk they provided. Good TV in the lounge, and tellies in both bedrooms.
Parking was free and easy, right outside the shop. Great location to explore the town, on the thoroughfare between Dylan's, beach and castle.
Shower was good. Plenty of towels. They provided a washing up package to clean the dishes. There's a utility room with laundry facilities.
I would recommend and return.
I'm used to 3pm check ins, I think 4pm is late. We went for an overnight break to relax and enjoy the view. We only had two hours of view before it went dark.
The shop creates some noise, I heard the excited squeals of ice cream fans from down below, and the shop's office is right next door. Startled me cos it sounded like someone was walking into the apartment when they were opening it up in the morning. Then the Monday morning fire alarm test. Considering all this, if 5 hours is required for turnover/cleaning, perhaps a 10am check out, 3pm check in would be beneficial , especially in the dark winter months.
The kitchen needs a blind. I felt imposing seeing the neighbours sat opposite at night, and I turned the lighting low in ours to compensate. I can see blind fixings are there, maybe it's being renewed.

It has all the things that we needed for my friends’ stay. I booked it for my friends who came from Blackburn and visited Criccieth. They really enjoyed the clean and very neat accommodation. We all liked it.
It is all worth it, there is nothing that we didn’t like.

The view on the ocean is unbeatable. A perfect place to stay in the area. We loved absolutely everything, tasty ice-creams included. Additionaly, the place is pet friendly, so we could take our animal companion.
Only the fridges humming is a bit annoying for light-sleepers.

Amazing location and a stunning property conveniently located above Cadwalders ice-cream shop
Not enough toilet roll for the duration of the stay and nothing to allow us to wash the dishes. Easily purchased but should be available

The apartment had the most amazing sea view, was spotlessly clean, very spacious and well thought out with quality fixtures and fittings, it had an extremely comfortable bed. It was very well equipped, home from home .
couldn't fault it.

Lovely apartment with amazing sea view. Comfortable beds, very clean and caters very well for our dogs. The only downside was you have to take the dogs to the farside beach by Dylans. Cadwaladers was great for breakfast too.
A lot of stairs not good for our arthritic dogs.

The iris is a fantastic property . The views are absolutely amazing. Its next to the beach. Above the Cadwaladers and across from the fish and chip shop. What more could you want 😂 Parking is plentiful.
There isn’t any negatives.

Amazing views-regardless of the weather, you can sit and watch the amazing view of the sea/beach/castle/hills, clean and comfortable apartment with good cooking facilities, we only used 1 of the bedrooms, but a good size if accommodating 4 people. The shower was lovely and nice that there were some toiletries and toilet roll provided. Easy to gain entry and lovely being above the ice cream shop which we frequented a lot during our stay! Very doggy friendly also and dog bowls and bed provided was very nice. Dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid and cloth all provided which is great as these are the things that get forgotten when coming on a self catering holiday! Great stair gates.
I couldn't find a whisk or a sieve-although I may just not have looked in the right place and some of the blinds were difficult to get to lift due to a broken cord in the kitchen and the blind in the bedroom being very heavy, as with most holiday apartments the kitchen knives needed a bit of a sharpen, the tin opener seemed a bit temperamental and the door mat at the entrance to the property really needs updating-this is shared with the ice cream shop, so appreciate that it will mainly be the shop making it dirty, but it is due a change as it is worn out and very dirty and not terribly effective to clean feet on the way in!

The view, comfortable seating and comfortable beds. The special touch was the warm welcome for the dog. Doggie bed, throws for settee and bowls.
Occasional banging doors from business downstairs.

The apartment was just fabulous. The views over the bay were amazing. Great location for getting to Zipwire & Snowdon. Ice cream shop below was the best, it had a new waiter & he was brilliant for just having started, an asset to the business
Didnt stay long enough.

beautiful location with stunning views ,
nothing really - just above the ice cream shop so shared entrance past toilet was the only very minor issue and too much Ice cream😂

I think as everyone who has previously stayed at the Iris has probably already mentioned, the view from the lounge window is beautiful, a forever changing picture.
The accommodation was fantastic, clean, comfortable and everything had been thought off with regards to making the place feel like a home from home.
We had a lovely stay Thank You
The Stairs up to the accommodation would probably be daunting if you have mobility challenges, I have not long ago had a replacement knee and just kept reminding myself that it would be worth it when I got to the top.
The Parking was a bit problematic but you just have to keep going round and round until hopefully a space becomes available on the near by streets but for loading or unloading for a short time parked outside Cadwallader's ice cream shop below does not hurt.

Location and views were wonderful, the welcome package was lovely and all facilities were available, such as washing machines, dryers, hair dryers, microwave, fridge, freezer, information pack for visiting places, two dog beds, the list goes on. Oh and the king size beds were nice too
Only one thing, because we were over the ice cream shop, we could here what I presume were the fridges / freezers keeping the ice cream cold, it was like fans from an air conditioning. But I am a light sleeper, the wife was fine.
