Eugaria Country House by Lost Lisbon

Host was very accommodating to our early starts and instead left us plenty of lovely food in the fridge and kitchen. Otherwise she serves breakfast in your room from 8.30 to 11am which would have been good for a lazy holiday. Bed was excellent. Shower and bathroom facilities excellent. Instructions to get into the property were very clear and worked well.

As another reviewer mentioned, local roads and driveway entry are not for the faint-hearted but work fine if you are a confident driver with a modest sized car.

So nice place in the countryside. The apartment was cozy, comfortable. The garden was amazing- oasis full of flowers with birds sounds. Maria, the host was welcoming and prepared fantastic breakfast. The overall experience was just fantastic.

Finding the way to the house was a challange during the night.:-)

We loved EVERYTHING about our accommodations! The studio was spacious, beautifully furnished and so comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful -- we looked forward to receiving our picnic basket of prepared breakfast every morning; such a lovely way to set the tone for the day and wake up! The location is fantastic, to say the setting is beautiful is an understatement. It's hard to know where to start between the gorgeous grounds or the spectacular view, or simply the convenient location to many local sites and vistas. I've never had my heart ache when leaving a vacation get away before, but my soul wanted to return to this country house as soon as our taxi pulled away :-(. Peace and tranquility permeate every corner of this treasured stay. Our hosts were lovely and so very accommodating. I cannot wait to return.

Internet can be intermittent at times which isn't problem when your goal is to get away from it all. It can however, slow down ability to book rides and buy tickets. It's such a wonderful place to stay that we didn't miss the internet access much.

Really nice location, with great views, on the touristic bus route that travels around Sintras Places/Castles.

Originally Booked the stay before Covid, so had to cancel. Rebooked, but seems the owners had changed. No longer any home-grown foods or meals (no B/Fast either). Host a but cold.
