Decent apartment not too far from the city center

Decent-sized apartment in an historic building. Entry was easy through locked cabinet that contained the key. Also clean. There isn a metro station 10 minutes walking from the apartment, with a direct connection to the city center.

Communication with the owners was not great. They are not very responsive. Standard email about entry to the house could have been given a day before, not less than an hour before. Also, we checked out at 9:55am (official check-out is at 10:00am). We updated the owners with photos, a general update and proof of payment of the city tax. They didn't even bother to respond.

Great value, comfy and well equiped Studio double in good location

Lovely big bedroom with comfy double bed and large lounge with a good bathroom too. Quiet area and next to tram stops and 15 mins walk to main rail stations and shopping, plus with lots of restaurants, cafes and groceries within 5-10 mins walk. I stayed for 5 days on a business trip, wifi great, table to work from, a fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. Note - Make sure you arrange in advance the check-in for smooth process :)

The interiors of the apartment are beautiful, the apartment was clean and spacious. The facilities provided were great and the proximity to supermarkets and the tram was perfect! The host was always available, accommodating and, kind.

Charming spacious studio flat with comfortable bed, great shower, and everything you need for simple self-catering for several days. In a beautiful suburb only 15mins walk from central station. Highly recommended.

There are 2 flights of stairs which was no problem for me but might be problematic for some visitors. The fridge is noisy at times which might keep some visitors awake.

Cosy bolthole in Antwerp

Lovely apartment, really comfy bed, great location we really loved the local neighbourhood. Great pastries from Domestic bakery! We ate out locally in the evening to avoid the tourist traps of the centre and it was all very good. If we return to Antwerp we will stay again.

Last minute changed location, overall great stay nonetheless

Great location near Berchem station, huge comfortable apartment. Lots of facilities, it was very clean. The street the apartment was on had amazing houses, including the one we were staying in, almost all marked as historical landmarks on Google maps. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Flexible check in and out.

We booked our stay 6 months before it was due and they changed the apartment due to overbooking less than 24 hours before our stay. I guess we were lucky, since we were visiting for a music festival and the new place was almost the same distance from the venue as the one we booked. Lots of stairs, it was on the highest floor of the house, for which we were warned. It was very cold, the radiators didn't do much, but we didn't spend enough time in the apartment to deem it worthy to ask for accommodations.

Shortly - worth it!

The apartment is truly extraordinary. Located in a lovely area with many restaurants around is a perfect spot to discover Antwerp. Nearby you can find both bus stops and metro station. I need to also highlight that beds were super comfortable! Hosts are simply fantastic, highly recommend staying over at their place.

Did not meet expectations

The apartment was not ready at check-in time which was bizarre, because the check in is at 13:00. Most of the other apartments in Antwerp allow check in after 14:00 or 15:00, so that was the primary reason we chose it. We had to wait an extra hour to check in. It boasts of a kitchen where you can prepare meals, but it looks more like a mini-bar with a microwave, so we couldn’t cook anything. The apartment is on the last floor, the stairs are narrow and winding and there was no elevator or anyone to help with the luggage. The location is not good if you are interested in sight seeing.

Location ok, clean apartment

1- Too noisy. There had been an overbooking, so they brought us to another apartment, near the one actually booked, which was fine, good apartment too. The problem was the noise, we could hear every step and every movement of the guests that were upstairs. 2- Communication with the host could have been better. I contacted them on the Booking chat (which we already used before with them) about the noise, they never replied. The same day at dinner time, we were trying to use the oven, but it was apparently broken/not working. I call them to ask for help, no reply. I sent a message too, they only replied more than 2 hours later. We had to throw away our dinner and find an alternative solution late in the evening, which was not ideal.

Spacious and clean property. Beautiful period features. Very comfortable bed!!! Very kind and helpful owners. Super flexible. Also the property was nicer in reality than the pictures. Fabulous parking, right outside also. I would re book again and the City of Antwerp is exceptional. Hidden gem !

This was my daughter's (5) and I's first visit to Antwerp and it was great!

Great location! nice place. Would stay here again. Fun places to eat all around. Super close to tram stop into city centre. We took the number 9 and it goes right to the train station (Diamant stop). There's a playground really close that is surrounded by restaurants and Cafe's, too.

There was a mosquito in there that ate my daughter and I alive both nights.

Good location. Nice apartment, high ceilings, big windows. Kitchen fully and nicely equipped. Host was absolutely nice, arranged the key for us late at night , and allowed us to leave much later than contracted. Thank you so much!

I believe it’s time to change some of the pans in the kitchen. Extremely thin walls and you can hear every neighbor;). But all these is not crucial at all
