Great location with lovely staff and an amazing breakfast

This is like a coat where one of the buttons has fallen off. It is still very usable but needs to be repaired. Firstly entrance to the car park is via a barrier but there is no parking outside so you have to block the entrance until you are checked in and receive a card to lift the barrier. A button to call reception for entry would resolve that. But on entering the hotel, we were surprised at how modern and welcoming it was. They have clearly spent a lot of money improving the lounge and restaurant area and it felt like a nice place to spend time in with great music playing . We had just arrived after a long overnight flight and Claire on reception was amazing. She called through to housekeeping and managed to get our room prepared much quicker than anticipated and we were able to get some much needed rest. The interior decor of the hotel was very quirky and welcoming and our room was a good size with a great view of the snow capped mountains. The bed was super comfy with a lovely duvet. It felt like we were lying on a big marshmallow😁 The bathroom was modern with a walk in shower but sadly, there was only luke warm water both in the evening and the following morning. The patio doors out into our balcony also didn't close properly so we had a bit of road noise but it wasn't overly bothersome. It just felt like they needed a maintenance person just to go around and fix the small things like loose handles and doors not closing. The breakfast was incredibly impressive, it seemed to go on forever as we walked through the lounge, there were more and more options to eat 😀 We had everything from fresh croissants, pain au chocolate to bacon, eggs and a selection of fresh hand and cheeses. Overall, we really liked the hotel and the staff were lovely. If they fixed the hot water and minor maintenance issues, this could easily be a 10 point hotel 😊

Good hotel, very convenient for TMB hike.

Very convenient for start or finish of Tour du Mont Blanc. Good restaurant. OK breakfast. Nice room. Free train pass and bus discount for Chamonix valley transport. Bus stops a few blocks away. Stored my extra luggage during TMB hike.

Perfect place to spend the night ahead of TMB

Excellent location - super close to Bellevue free parking. Waiter was super friendly and funny and went out of his way to connect with us. Food was excellent - delicious Italian dinner and lots of variety at breakfast. Lovely view from the room!

We were given a wheelchair accessible room in which the shower had no walls and so things got very wet/ flooded!

Disappointed

We were given a room on the first floor, facing the parking, we had to sleep with the windows open due to warm summer climate however we had no privacy and security from the window. The hotel is not equipped to handle a large number of people during breakfast due to slow replenishment of food and clean cutlery.

Perfect value for money and a great stay

We arrived quiet late, as we were driving down from Paris and took longer than expected. Yet there was a very nice gentleman waiting for us, at the reception, checked us in, and made sure our car was parked in the right spot and even suggested some good local restaurants to catch a meal. The hotel is squeaky clean, very well maintained and all the facilities are top notch. The breakfast spread was fascinating, much better than most Ibis properties and the staff was all amazing. Highly recommended and the location is right in the middle of all the action.

Attractive, comfortable good value hotel close to the expensive resort of Chamonix

Recently nicely refurbished and the restaurant was particularly attractive. Our room had a large comfortable bed and the included breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and there is an easily accessed car park

The toilet was a bit too small, quite difficult to get in and shut the door! Perhaps the hotel should have better plans for unpredicted snowfalls - we had one overnight before we left and there were no staff available to help clear the car park so we could get out - they didn’t seem to realise there was a problem, though concerned when we told them. and the hotel possessed only one shovel. We managed with other guests but it could have been r been difficult and we are 74!

An excellent stay with great food

The staff and the room were all excellent. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. I had my evening meal while at the hotel and the food was very good.

Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good.

Staff were was unfriendly and struggled with English. I understand this is a french town, but the majority of the guests I met were English speaking, so get the right staff at the reception. They also got our room details wrong, and we didn't know there was an extra City tax. No one made us aware of it. So had to pay an extra 5%. Pillows were very uncomfortable.

Might be cheaper but it cuts corners.

The option I was given to change rooms. You don't want a room at the back onto a back yard and car park after a 10-day trek in the Alps!

- No coffee and tea facilities (ie no kettle) in the room or free drinks in the lobby (as is often the case in other hotels). - Before my trek I'd also booked there and my reservation was cancelled - apparently due to works, but in fact it was because they had to close down after an inspection. - There were too few hangers and almost no space in the room to hang clothes after my long trek.

Excellent room, elevator but open shower with no door.

The breakfast was excellent. We had a nice view from the balcony. The décor was very modern and attractive. There was an elevator and hence it was easy to bring the luggage to the room on the 3rd floor. There was paring on site. We got there by 9 PM and there wasn't much room. But in the morning could move the car to a regular parking spot. The scenery is spectacular in the area. There is a free bus, with a stop a block away, that can take you into Chamonix. But there is also sufficient parking in Chamonix anayway.

There was no door on the shower stall. As a result, the whole bathroom got splashed when we took a shower. There was also a single tiny trash can for the room. I was beginning to think that trash cans are very expensive in France. But the next hotel I stayed in had a tiny can in the bathroom and a medium size one in the bedroom. So did an earlier hotel a week ago. The hotel sent a message asking if we wanted a double bed or two singles. Unfortunately, they sent the email the same day we were to check in and after we were already on the road with no access to email. I wish they had asked that when I first made the reservation.

Greeted at the door by a very friendly Italian man, helpful staff during check in. Food was incredible, the 3 course fixed menu was delicious. Everything was great, room very clean and pleasant and well designed. View from the front balcony was great overlooking mountains.

Gorgeous location at a great price.

The location is right next to Mont Blanc with beautiful Mountain View’s. The room was basic but very nice. Breakfast was very good with several hot choices. We would definitely stay there again.

Staff was mostly unhelpful and nonchalant about our needs/questions. Front desk woman wanted to be anywhere but the front desk. ***note: this hotel is one of the few that WON’T store luggage AT ALL. As well, they were unhelpful in helping us find storage, figure out busses, etc.
