I always evaluate based on expectation. My expectations were not too high we just wanted a clean and nice place to sleep after party and to be ready to ski early morning. We did so. Breakfast was ok and cant complaint about anything... People on bar and receptionist were friendly ;)

Extremely well-maintained, social spaces but rooms quiet and tidy, good happy hour deals
Not as close to Chamonix centre as I’d have liked. Still close enough to walk, but not if you’re in ski boots w/ gear. Bus and train stop very accessible though

I liked the bar and restaurant, food was affordable. Free breakfast was OK
Maybe a repaint of the stairs and doors to the rooms. They looked dirty

its a hostel. Its cheap and its clean and there was breakfast included.
Some interaction with staff might have been nice... the only ones we saw/interacted with were the ones behind the bar.
