Budget stay in a great hotel
Great host and breakfast. Rooms were basic but had everything needed. Bedroom was clean.

Enjoyable and good value !
Breakfast was great and the host friendly. Nice touches were having a fridge and a small microwave in the room as well as some lovely sweet treats in the form of Tunnocks Tea Cakes and Caramel Wafers to go along with the tea and coffee facilities. Not a huge room but exactly as advertised and comfortable, clean and good value for money.
Car Parking is a bit restricted but manageable.

A pleasant and comfortable stay
There was absolutely nothing we could fault about our stay at this lovely B&B. Easy to find with on- site parking at the rear of the property. Tastefully decorated and not overdone, with everything we needed. The rooms were very warm and cosy which was appreciated for a cold and rainy autumn night when we arrived. The B&B was also very clean and tidy. The host Fred, was readily available when needed and was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was superb to cater for a range of tastes including a hot breakfast. A 5-10 minute walk to the centre of the town was convenient for dinner options.

Perfect spot for a short stay.
Comfy, quiet room. It was a bonus to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Having blackout blinds was an excellent touch. Fred was a very helpful and friendly host. Location is in walking distance of both railway station and bus station. Perfect for my needs when all I needed was somewhere quiet and comfortable to sleep for two nights while working in the area. I will certainly return if I am in the area.
The shower was a little temperamental and took a while to reach a comfortable temperature. However, once it was set, it worked fine. Nothing else not to like.
