Very disappointing compared to a previous stay

The elephant booked in upstairs that had a bladder issue. Seriously, that is obviously circumstance, but the walls/floors do not absorb any sound whatsoever, to the extent that I could hear taos, shower heads or some form of water system dripping in a different room The room was cold on arrival. (5th Dec in Scotland) Upon switching the radiator on, in the absence of any a/c unit or climate control, you could hear the heating system kick in all through the night.

We stayed previously and we had a menu for breakfast. This time it was served as a buffet style and was stone cold which was a shame.

Only the two things bothered us but all in all, we would have given it a 10 but for those two things.

Fairly good.

Breakfast staff could have been a bit more cheery, one was very stern and direct. But to be fair they were busy. Also, bathroom floor was unwashed. You could see footprints and splashes below sink and around toilet. Yuk.

Lovely hotel, very helpful & friendly staff Clean & tidy & fantastic restaurant's

Unfortunately the bed too soft & uncomfortable (for me) room could do with a little tidy up. (They are doing the hallways now) Not much to do nearby.

Handy location for Kilmarnock FC

Very clean and comfortable

EV charging is a bit rubbish. Fast chargers not working. Only allowed 90 minutes to charge so only managed about 10% on the type 2. At least it was only 50p per KWh.

Ideal central location We used on site cafe for breakfast and snacks which suited our busy itinerary

It tkt all the boxes near train station , next to football ground the 2 girls on reception Kirsten I think & Kia very helpful & ordered me a taxi for early morning & early morning phone call & organised my evening meal as I did not arrive till after 20-00 pm & l look forward to coming back in febuary

Noisy outside all night and above. Trolleys moving early doors waking us up around 4-5. Breakfast was disappointing- £15 and extra £2.50 for a poor pittance offering omelette. Poor quality goods

Location and parking

The assisted rooms are not properly assisted. You still have to step into a bath. The assisted room was through 3 very heavy fire doors which were extremely difficult to open The food wasn’t great.
