We loved the location, very serene with the view of the broads and the company of the geese "greylags" on the grounds. We had dinner there and found it was copious and tasty. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Even though it is set in acres of land, there is no place to walk other than the car park area. The other side seems to be reserved for functions and weddings.

Lovely scenic location, view of the lake from our room. Air-con was great. Food was delicious. Staff were super friendly, ales were great. Slept well
Goose and duck poop everywhere outside sadly. Some strange noises coming from the pipes in the bathroom. Slamming doors from rooms below us in the morning.

Staff were very accommodating, friendly and very welcoming on arrival and departure. Had excellent service through the meal and from bar staff and Ron reception. They couldn’t do enough for you. The room was really lovely and was decorated to a high standard with beautiful Victorian / gothic style furniture that fitted in with the contemporary style
It would have been nice to have been able to walk about round the lake and as it was in the middle of nowhere there could’ve had a little bit more to do such as having a pool table and the sound on the TV when England was playing. It would’ve encouraged us to spend more time and more money in the bar. We ended up going to bed early. But there is plenty to do in the daytime and we had a lovely boat trip nearby in Rollesby.
