A vacation turned into a nightmare

This place should be completely removed from the platform. I arrived hoping for a peaceful holiday and left with deep disappointment, lost money, and an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. The room looked nothing like the pictures: furniture was old, broken, and dirty, the bathroom was neglected, and the entire place was infested with ants, bees, and various insects – like something out of an abandoned property. There was absolutely no cleanliness. Not even the bare minimum. During our stay, the area was hit by wildfires, and our safety was seriously at risk. We had to leave early. The owner, Mr. Margaritis, promised to call us for a refund. That never happened. It was a lie. We were met with silence, neglect, and a total lack of responsibility. We lost our vacation, we lost our money, and we were blatantly ignored and disrespected. If you care about your health, your time, and your hard-earned money – do not book this place. What you’ll find here is filth, dishonesty, and an owner who clearly doesn’t care about guests. Booking.com should take action and remove this property immediately. It’s a disgrace to the platform.

Terrible experience – ruined vacation! Stay away from this hotel!

I had one of the worst stays ever at Thassos Imperial Resort. The rooms are full of ants, cleaning is almost non-existent, and the swimming pool is dirty and poorly maintained. The entire place feels neglected. To make things worse, the owner – a man named Margarit – operates unethically: he takes orders without giving any fiscal receipt, sets prices as he pleases, and the sunbeds, which should be included, are actually not. To use a sunbed, you are forced to spend a minimum of 40 euros at their bar, with ridiculously overpriced products. The worst part of my stay: we spent an entire night without electricity and without air conditioning. No apologies, no solution, no compensation. I had to leave the next day, losing part of my vacation, and the hotel refused to refund the unused nights. In short: my holiday was ruined because of this hotel. Complete lack of professionalism, basic services missing, and a management attitude that shows zero respect towards customers. Avoid this place at all costs.

Just Perfect

We had a really good time here, the staff was extremely comunicative and friendly, we had a nice welcome. The room was ok equipped and the internet was fine, not perfect, but then again it was better than most of Greece. All the hotel's spaces seemed very well looked after with good attention to detail. The beach was awesome, the bar was serving drinks and food on the spot, the staff from the beach was really friendly as well. We were really impressed by the breakfast, there was a lot of variety and within the resort there's also a very good tavern. I will definitely try booking again in the future.

I would have appreciated to have some slippers and bath robe in the room.

Location, beach, sea. If you want to make a hotel holiday it is one of the best hotels. Also a good taverna.

The beach is too popular and not only for hotel guest so you need to put towels on beach to pick a good place. The breakfast is weak. Just one coffee machine, frozen bakery products. Just eggs and pancakes everyday.

Parking could be shaded like they have at Lidl Thassos (nice to have) They should plant some vegetation to hide the trash bins which are across the street. (nice to have) The sewage treatment plant that is near the same bins should have active carbon filters to neutralize smell the wind brings near the hotel sometimes. The sea side of the hotel does not have this problem. (must solve) They need a floating deck on the sea for jumps into the sea.(must have)

I can't complain about the breakfast. The service was good. People were smiling and welcoming, and the atmosphere was great. We're happy that we stayed there.

There are not many taverns, or shops near the hotel but it is nearly 9km (9 minutes) away from the most lively place in Thassos.

Great hotel, staff, food and attitude! I highly recommend it!

The hotel location, the hotel itself and the beach are just great! We were on a half board and I would say that the food was delicious with a great variety of choices! The rooms are beautifully furnished and cleaned every day! The staff is kind and helpful! As an addition the tavern is one of the best we have ever been at! The fresh fish and sea products are our most favourite! We did workouts with Aliki which were a great addition to our stay!

May be more workouts can make our experience even better! There is not much information regarding the workouts- this might be improved.

The hotel is right on the beach and they have free sun beds you can use, which is great. Breakfast is great and you can find whatever you like. Cleaning is on spot.

As a Romanian, i was surprised (and not in a good way) to hear manele playing at Sentido. It ruins the whole exclusivity vibe it had.

Breakfast is good.

Its too noisy. Hotel is next to the main road, the isolation is really bad (you hear every single car passing the main road Thassos-Limenaria). Also, please work on the kicking of the outside doors (several people had the same comment). Its really disturbing to get woken up every single night by an outside corridor door knocked up by wind.

Great family hotel

It is family hotel, right on the beach with plenty sun beds for the guests. Staff is friendly, both on the beach and in the hotel. We were in the annex building and we enjoyed being out of the crowded hotel.the scenery and the sound of the trees 🌲 in the morning is priceless. There are only 5 apartments in the building with a small pool. If you organize 5 friends with families it is ideal for pool party :) We will be back for sure!

It is the first hotel we have been to that does the cleaning at 3pm. We did not have the room cleaned during our stay because our kids were napping during this hour. However, upon our reaction hotel changed the cleaning time. They need to change the stands for drying towels as they are broken. We had to use the chairs on the patio, but then we had no place to sit :(
