A desired place with very kind persons

Katherina and Kostas was amazing hosts Smiling, friendly, they welcomed us and were always available .The castle overlooking the mountains and the sea .The place - warm and beautiful, made with a lot of love. The pool was beautiful

The best place to spend our holiday

We had a great holiday at Kastro. It's a cosy and awsome place for families. Katarina and Kostas are the best hosts ever. Very friendly, they were always smiling and happy to help us. The room was beautiful, clean and with a great view of the mountains and the pool. We enjoyed every minute of our holiday in Thassos and we for sure will come back to Kastro studios! We felt like home. Thank you ❤👨‍👩‍👧

Our stay at Kastro

We stayed at Kastro as a family with 2 young children. The room was not big (we had 4 single beds) but we didn’t go to Thassos to spend time sitting around in the room so it doesn’t matter. Good size wardrobe. The room’s temperature was comfortable at night despite it being second floor. The kitchen corner has a kettle (very short cord though) a small electric hob (we found it very slow) a small fridge with freezer (we froze small water bottles to take to the beach as they defrost slowly so they’re great for drinking) cutlery, plates, cups and glasses, 2 pans, a pasta strainer and a grater. The bathroom is standard. The floor needs mopping after each time you take a shower as the shower corner is rather petite. Could have more hooks and a shelf for toothbrushes, gel etc. The host offered toilet paper and a bar of soap. A couple of the plug sockets were coming off and if you travel with young kids you have to make sure they’re not touching them. The balcony is spacious and the laundry lines were very handy. Ask for more pegs or buy your own especially if you travel as a family (lots of towels, swimwear etc at the end of each day) The swimming pool area was always clean and the pool was lovely. The grounds are very pretty and very well maintained. The pool bar was closed because of the pandemic I guess. This also impacted on the fact that cleaning staff was not allowed to come in at all, only between guests. We had to buy cleaning stuff for the toilet and for the dishes. The shop is on the main road, about a 7-8min walk to the left. The walk to the beach (we pushed a disability buggy) was maybe 10 minutes. The beach is wonderful with the stunning Mount Ipsarion in the background. Plenty of tavernas and shops to choose from. We found a couple of Spars nearby and they were very useful to top up our fruit and snacks. We felt so bad that tourism this summer was very slow compared to other years and business was down.

O locație unde as reveni cu mare drag

O locație linistita, camere curate cu balcon. De la balcon se vede marea si munții în același timp. Un peisaj care îți taie respirația. Proprietarii sunt ospitalieri si super drăguți. Piscina e perfecta si ai si baldachine pt relaxare. O locație perfectă!!!!

Pana la plaja faci cam 15 min pe jos. Si un market e cam la aceeași distanta.
