100m2 apartment (max 6 people) completely renovated, 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower. Living room with sofa bed and direct access to the garden with a BBQ. For business or leisure. Wifi and TV available.

Apartment completely renovated in 2015 very well equipped with open kitchen. Beautiful terrace and BBQ, deck chair and garden furniture outside in a rural environment.

Olivier and Laurence welcome you and provide you with the household linen (sheets, bath towel, dish towel, ...) as well as a cleaning service. Billing possible including VAT (recovery for company).

Location 20km from Brussels Airport, Leuven (Haasrode) only 12km. Wavre (GSK) 10 km and Louvain-la-Neuve 12 km.

The property was exactly as advertised! Slept so good on the comfortable beds! Hosts were great and gave us ideas of places to go. Wonderful! Only difficulty was stairs when my husband tweaked his knee one day sightseeing. The location was excellent to see the best of Belgium!

The Lodge was very nice and the surrounding landscape was very silent and invites us to take long walks. The Owners where very comfortable and friendly. The distance to Brussel and other interesting locations was not that far and we could reach them quickly by car.

Beautiful accommodation that was spotlessly clean and fully equipped, especially an X-Box for the kids. Beautiful area. Very helpful owners with great local knowledge. It is in the countryside so you will need a car. For a stay in the countryside we would highly recommend it.

Perfect for a Quiet Retreat in Rural Belgium

The house was everything we hoped it would be - spacious, light and airy, with the possibility to fold back the four double glazed doors, extending the lounge into the patio - making it a wonderful space to eat in the evening and look back into the house with its multitude of mood lighting options. The garden too was a delight - an oasis of calm and quiet where we could rest and enjoy the sound of birdsong and the rustle of a warm breeze passing through the trees. In July, it's not the sakura (cherry tree) that is the great joy, but a relative of the linden (lime) tree that gives off a heavenly scent. In this rural setting, you feel like you are living in the middle of an arboretum. The house itself is modern and streamlined, finished all in white for a simple look, and the wifi covers all areas. Other features include international satellite tv (mostly news channels), and an iPad driven sound system. The main bedroom is compact but adequate, and our hosts Olivier and Laurence reconfigured the second bedroom as a single with a desk and chair. My wife used the room for yoga practice, and I did some personal writing. Pretty much in the middle of the Wallon region, the house is a great base to explore Brussels and the surrounding countryside. During our stay, we watched a re-enactment marking the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. And another interesting excursion was an afternoon we spent at the Musee Herge, (in Louvain la Neuve) celebrating the adventures of Tintin. We will miss the house and gardens when we return to England. This has been one of our most enjoyable summer stays.

This appartment is very luxeruous, comfortable and therefore a great place if you want to stay in a quiet environment. The kids enjoyed the x-box! it is centrally located if you want to visit Brussels, Leuven, Waterloo or Walibi. You need a car to go there.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Umgebung lud zu Entdeckungen ein und man begnete stets freundlichen Nachbarn. Beinahe täglich machten wir Spaziergänge oder kleine Wanderungen, genossen die Ruhe und süße Luft des Dorfs. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt. Es ist ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Brüssel und Löwen ca 30min., Brügge etwas über 1Std. entfernt. Wir waren 14 Tage vor Ort und haben Tagesunternehmungen und Entspannungszeiten ganz spontan entschieden und so einen idealen Urlaub erlebt, ohne auch nur einen Tag als zu langweilig oder zu unruhig empfunden zu haben. Sehr nette Gastgeber, die mit wertvollen Tipps für Freizeitgestaltung, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc aushelfen können. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Le Sakura Lodging est situé dans un beau village, la campagne est à deux pas et on trouve tous les commerces et services dans un rayon de 8 km. Le logement est confortable, très bien équipé et même avant l'arrivée, les hôtes sont aux petits soins pour vous assurer un séjour sans soucis. La grande pièce à vivre, aménagée en 3 espaces et largement ouverte sur la nature est particulièrement agréable. Bien qu'à proximité de la maison du propriétaire, l'agencement bien pensé donne a chacun un espace extérieur privé. La météo incertaine ne nous a pas permis de profiter pleinement de la terrasse extérieure, dommage. Une adresse à recommander, avec de multiples activités de loisirs et de tourisme proches!
