Kinblethmont Coach House is a beautifully renovated sandstone building set within the peaceful private woodlands of the Kinblethmont Estate in rural Angus. Once part of the historic estate buildings, it now offers spacious, light‑filled accommodation with large glass windows, modern comforts and a seamless connection to nature. It’s an ideal year‑round retreat for families, couples and adult groups looking for tranquillity, space and a touch of heritage.
Inside, the Coach House feels bright, warm and welcoming. The generous living areas are perfect for gathering together — relaxed breakfasts, long lunches, cosy evenings or simply enjoying the woodland views through the glass doors. These open directly onto a private patio, giving you effortless indoor–outdoor living and a quiet place to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks.
There are four comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, offering privacy and convenience for every guest. The flexible family room allows the property to sleep up to 10 when children share, while adult groups appreciate the comfort of four independent bedrooms and bathrooms.
Step outside and you’re surrounded by Kinblethmont’s private woodland estate. Wander peaceful paths, listen to birdsong, and enjoy the sense of space that comes from being immersed in nature. Guests also have full access to the estate’s walled garden, a unique sheltered area with outdoor games, seating and room to relax.
One of the things guests appreciate most is the responsive, personal support available throughout their stay. Kinblethmont is a family‑run estate, and there is always someone nearby to help if you need anything — no call centres, no long waits, just friendly assistance when required.
For larger gatherings, the Coach House can be joined internally with The Stables next door, creating a spacious multi‑generational or group retreat with up to six bedrooms.

We loved our stay at Kinblethmont Coach House. The walled garden was the highlight of our stay and provided the perfect entertainment, we couldn’t resist a game of tug of war! The property even had a treasure chest full of toys, which was a lovely touch.We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it.

The King's Blyth Mount! Well named. Accommodation, location, grounds, welcome, furnishings. Favourite aspect for me? The walled garden with its table-tennis, badminton, swings, etc.

Excellent rural setting. Accommodation was very sociable and rooms were excellent size. Walled garden was beautiful. Would highly recommend. Family of all ages had a brilliant weekend.

The house and grounds were well maintained and very attractive. A major safety concern for the young and old was the open wooden staircase. The open plan ground floor allowed early morning children's play to rouse sleepers and TV needed to be quiet.Overall it is a lovely place to stay. The toy box and play things in a huge walled garden was a big hit.
