We loved the location, right in the heart of Split’s Old Town, in a beautiful historic building that has been very nicely renovated. The room was huge and had everything we needed and more, including bathrobes, slippers, a safe, a fridge and complimentary bottles of water — all the little touches you would expect from a good hotel. There is also a small balcony with an amazing view over the city, which was a real highlight. Breakfast vouchers are included for a nearby hotel, set on a beautiful square. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they made our late check-in very easy and efficient. The room was spotless, with daily housekeeping, and the bathroom was modern, spacious and very clean. Considering the prices in this part of Split, we thought it offered excellent value for money.

The room is on the 4th floor with no lift, so it may not be ideal if you have heavy luggage or difficulty with stairs. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

Comfortable bed, central location. They went above and beyond to help my friend check into our room when I was not around, in circumstances when my friend arrived a day later than I did. They are very responsive on WhatsApp and they helped me with my bags when I got in. Directions to the place are accurate.

The location is good but a bit dicey looking when you walk inside the palace to get there. The shower nozzle was weird, it could be mounted up - I couldn’t figure it out. They have an iron! Bonus!

Location

towels were dirty and broken. water boiler was too small for two people - there was hot water for one person only. Staff didn’t apologize neither of these problems. Also after showering, the bathroom floor flooded because of lack of floor drain
