Rooms Base

Incredibly center in Split. I'm not sure there is a closer room to the center in all of Split. The owner was very good to work with - very friendly and helpful. He also accommodated our request for storing our luggage when we arrived.

You have to lug your things up flights of stairs but this is standard for apartments. The A/C worked well but the fan turns off when it hits the set temp which can disturb your sleep a little. I think this is also standard for A/C's in Europe.

In the center of the palace , can see the sphinx from the window which is super cool

Some crazy tourists talking near mid night at the Jupiter temple which is really loud ; but that has nothing to do with the property

The location was a perfect base to explore the city. We could access the historic attractions on the doorstep, lovely restaurants and evening entertainment a few meters away. It was easy to get changed between activities too. Even though we were in the centre, there was no evening noise as the windows and shutters kept it out. The owner was extremely accommodating; welcomed us to the city, allowed us to check in early, leave our suitcases the day we checked out and even left a bag to put our wet swim things in. He very kindly said to contact him if we needed anything which was appreciated. The room was the perfect size - plenty of luggage space, sockets, immaculately clean and strong wifi.

Was advertised as a double but was two single beds pushed together. A topper to connect the beds would have been sufficient.

Location was amazing! Rooms were decent size. Provided coffee. Air conditioning was good.

We had two rooms. One shower wasn’t warm. Bathroom was dirty upon arrival. Lacked toilet paper. No one was around for checkout. - store was to open at 10 and we just ended up leaving at 10:1( so not to miss our next stop.
