Charming hotel, very friendly and helpful staff
The Booking.com taxi from the LAX airport to the hotel was not satisfactory. It was very confusing to get in contact with the driver and to find him. It felt as if he was totally new to the job, and besides, he did not speak one word of English

Clean, nice greeting in reception
Tiny bedroom, horribly smelling shower shampoo, conditioner and body wash. So strong that the hotel upstairs smelled of it. Not as close to UCLA as suggested. No restaurant, very basic breakfast. Very overpriced.

Stylish boutique hotel with a relaxed home-from-home feel. The reception team were wonderful and very welcoming. The hotel was always clean and tidy and the communal area was lovely. There is a pretty garden area with a fountain and comfy chairs at the back.
Air con in the first room we stayed did not seem to be functioning. Gluten free options for the bagels and pastries at breakfast would have been great. Airport shuttle was incorrectly advertised on booking.com.

Proximity to UCLA Medical Center
I've stayed at three other Palihotels. I'm shocked this is under the same brand. I paid extra for a garden room and there was no garden. The hotel overlooks a busy street. And I was charged a resort fee and parking, which entailed them moving my car to a meter right in front of the hotel. Something I could've done myself but they charged me $45/day.
Additionally, they didn't provide any coffee/tea/water in the room. And the continental breakfast that I've experienced in their other properties was comprised of horribly stale croissants and Yoplait yogurt. I am so disappointed and can't believe how much I was charged for what felt like a motel.

Hotel was in a good neighborhood, close to UCLA, lots of young people around, pretty safe. We parked the car on the street for two nights and it was fine (and free; just need to be lucky and check once in a while for parking patrol). Bed was comfortable, ultra plush. So if you like firm bed, you won’t like it. Bathroom water pressure was good! Breakfast was adequate. All you need was there: pastry, fruits, yogurt, coffee, tea. Beverages were available 24/7, which was really nice. There was a garden on the side. Staff was friendly and professional. Check in and check out were smooth. No drama. Umbrella was there to borrow for sun or rain.
Bathroom was too small. You can hear the creaking and noise from upstairs and next doors. It’s an old building. So if you’re noise sensitive, it’ll drive you crazy. Found some hair on the decorative pillow. Yikes but understood how it’s there. Other than that, it’s pretty clean. Price was pretty steep. But maybe that’s LA.

Staff was exceptional! Room super comfy.
A little bit noisy at night and maybe a few protein items for breakfast.

Really beautiful & Loved the location! We walked everywhere
Very pretty, curated property. I wish the couch in our room had been more like the one in the lobby. Also, a tiny bedside table on both (not just one) sides of the bed, not just one side.

Staff are very helpful! My room was super small and need small things like a towel rail at basin but amenities are good. Good instructions and very helpful staff helping with all you need.
Need more cupboard space and towel railings

The place is adorable! Breakfast was continental but with a really great eye on the choices. Very walkable area with a lot of activity due to the college being close.
Parking was a challenge but the bellhop helped me with knowing how I could park in one place and put the app on my phone so I didn't have to run back and forth every 2 hours.

Great aesthetic boutique hotel in a quiet and walkable neighborhood with full time front desk. We also had our pet with us and the hotel was extremely pet friendly. Comfy bed, fast wifi, hot showers, and coffee included any time of day. The staff was extremely kind and helpful.
The free breakfast was fine, but a little lackluster - just some croissants and yogurt basically. Valet parking is available at $45/nt which is probably about normal, but definitely deterred from renting a car. A bit inflexible on late checkout, but very kindly held our bags. No real complaints and would definitely recommend!

This hotel was very cool and cute, with an aesthetic that felt like retro LA. Each morning, they served local, delicious pastries in the main area, and having breakfast in the lobby gave the space a great vibe. I love Westwood, so the location was perfect for me.
It is a bit expensive, but that's what you get for the location.

Perfect if you’re looking for a boutique hotel. Has a very European feel to it. Very upscale.
The mattress sagged badly.

I love the Palihotel in general. Love the whole concept and the rooms are always so comfortable and chic. Friend from out of town was visiting LA and it was a very comfortable stay for both of us.
Compared to other Palihotels, it was just a little underwhelming. Felt a little loud as well in the morning. Price was a bit high for what we got, but given the location I guess I can understand. However I feel like I got less bang for my buck at this location as compared to for example the one in San Diego.

The hotel had a really beautiful manicured grounds. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful. Complimentary breakfast was minimal but appreciated. I liked the vintage decor. We had an old rotary phone. We enjoyed our stay and would totally stay there again.

Very old Hollywood glam. Sweet touches in the rooms like old fashioned mini fridge. Small fountain to sit near outside. Walkable restaurants for lunch and dinner. Close to botanical gardens at UCLA.
Breakfast served was a croissant and apple or banana. And the not out early for those trying to catch a flight. Refrigerator only has room for drinks you can purchase.

The hotel is very nice appointed with its furnishings, both in the rooms and in the lobby. Breakfast is a step up from the "normal" continental breakfast. For doing business in Westwood, I love that I can walk everywhere and don't need a car.
I did not like the sweet taste in the latte that came from the machine.

Fabulous boutique hotel- great location- easy walk to Westwood village and a short Uber to Beverley Hills. Great decor anda lovely common courtyard to sit outside. Beautiful beds
The rooms were very small and hard to accommodate a suitcase let alone two. The wardrobe space was ver limited. No iron or coffee in the room

The property is right besides UCLA’s medical facility. My Dad was having open heart surgery and there were scheduling complications. The manager was so helpful with adding additional days to our stay!

I didn’t like anything about the hotel. Low quality high price.
No facilities even the basic.
Not enough towels.
No toothpaste.
The room Smelled humid.
They also wanted to charge me extra for my dog!

This is an adorable iconic hotel just a few blocks south of the UCLA campus. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Charming pastry breakfast. Rooms are well appointed and decorated to be reminiscent of the 1920-1940.

Breakfast, Coffee and Water in Lobby, Location, Vibe
Housekeeping services no-show, no tissue in rooms, lack of follow-through from lobby staff, lack of trashcans in rooms
7.0 / 10.0
Great location, good breakfast options and friendly staff.
There was only one bedside table and no nearby outlet or charging station, which was inconvenient.
The sound insulation was also extremely poor. We could hear people talking and doors closing late into the night, and the shower in the next room woke us up at 5am.

1) Kind staff
2) Good location
3) Allows Amazon deliveries in your name
1) Room too small
2) Only one power plug, which is next to the wash basin. That was absurd
3) Breakfast options extremely limited

Cosy, small hotel with very nice location, quiet neighborhood and really close to UCLA and Botanical Gardens, had a nice walk there every day. Old and new nicely renovated next to each others
Loved the snacks in the “minibar” and nice to have possibility to make coffee in the room.
Cannot recommend to people with heavy luggage or difficulties with walking stairs, no elevator.. Room pretty small, one luggage opened fine, other one would have been a problem.
Breakfast was not really a breakfast, recommend to have it elsewhere
8.0 / 10.0
The reception staff were extremely kind and courteous. The breakfast coffee machine was a great amenity, and they had a good workspace near the reception area, which was very convenient.
I found that not having an elevator can be a bit inconvenient at times, especially since my room was on the third floor. However, the staff were always willing to carry my luggage or bags to my room, which was appreciated. Another issue I encountered was that, on two occasions during my stay (which was split into two periods), the housekeeping staff changed the sign I had placed on my door from "Clean the Room" to "Do Not Disturb." The first time, I thought I might have made a mistake, but the second time I took a photo and confirmed that they had altered it. I didn’t find this to be very courteous.

i liked that they were green and didn’t have plastic bottles of water. the common area was clean and the room was clean except for hair found in sink.
staff was slow… didn’t really feel efficient.. just on their own time. took 15mins to check in. when i left the hotel at 5am, the staff (gentleman) behind the desk was fully asleep snoring…. very unprofessional. never have seen that.

The pillows were softer than I like and there were no alternatives available
