Modern, had a nice front desk person who knew nothing about the local restaurants or neighborhood.

A nice little hotel, or modern motel, if you don’t want to break the bank.

Very clean hotel and perfect location on Santa Monica Blvd. We loved the happy hour with complementary drinks and their breakfast choices. We also enjoyed sitting on their outdoor patio. The room was clean and comfortable.

The only thing that was hard for us about the property is not having an elevator or microwaves in the rooms. Also the rooms were pretty small but it did work for us.

Great location, great staff, ok breakfast

To be honest we expected a hotel like accommodation and looks more like a motel to be honest, the issue is that with the room we had you could hear all the cars outside and it was very comfortable to be waken up every morning by the cars or honks etc. Besides that, great location, the Staff are super friendly and helpful would recommend 8/10 . Also it has no elevator.

The noise from outside could be heard inside the room easily.

Bad sound isolation. The breakfast was included but that means only one item (something not eatable at all) so you need to pay for other breakfast stuff. It feels like a scam.

AVOID this hotel. The location is good, but the service was terrible. We were not informed that parking was chargeable until we saw the final bill — $33 per day. When we complained, the staff simply pointed to small print in the terms and conditions they rush you to sign at check-in. Completely unacceptable. The room was not cleaned properly, and breakfast was even worse. The hotel offers only three options, and you are forced to choose the same two every single day. No variety at all. To top it off, when we asked for a coffee in the afternoon, we were told they couldn’t serve it. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I do not recommend staying here.

I never experienced having to insert your room key in the slot to get full use of the lights, a reminder of how that works at ck in would have stopped me from chasing down staff, who were great when i asked... No small refrigerator or at least didnt see it

Very clean and modern and the "complimentary breakfast" is great!!

The breakfast was great, not the ordinary complimentary breakfast items. They offered croissants, yougurt parfaits, bagel and lox, and a really great quiche, warmed up and they serve the breakfast to you in their cafe with a beverage of choice. Very clean place and the staff that greeted us on arrival was really nice, I forget his name but he was really friendly and welcoming.

The staff that was there when we departed the hotel wasn't as friendly, but the stay overall was nice. The parking is expensive in my opinion, $33, plus tax for one night to park in their lot, or in the back, which is an alleyway. But apparently most hotels in the area charge a fee for parking which is just insane, should be part of the fee for the room.

Delightful Boutique Hotel

The property was new and very clean. Nice details in the room, water carafe, robes, and Keurig machine. Very clean! The linens were soft and comfortable.

Parking fees. I don’t understand why a hotel charges them when chances are you might have a car and you shouldn’t have to pay more when you pay to stay at the property. That goes for all hotels.

The breakfast was phenomenal. The staff and the location were great and the hotel also provided parking for the car. It was a safe location to stay up with family.

The place did not have an elevator, and the luggage needed to be carried up the stairs. Also, the hotel does not have a pool.

The Olivia is an unexpected oasis. I couldn't wait to see it, what a lovely and thoughtful remodel of what was a neighborhood eyesore. The vibe is Euro-chill meets LA chic motel. Thoughtful design touches throughout. Very comfortable sleeping in small modern room. We did not expect the complementary happy hour beverage and modest breakfast which is a huge plus! This is a hotel for adults who are looking for quirky upscale casual in the Westwood area. Price point is OK in this area where even chain hotels are pricey.

Parking at $30 per night is not okay, particularly in an unsecured alleyway behind the hotel. You might be able to find street parking. The rooms facing Santa Monica Blvd could experience quite a bit of traffic noise.

Never coming back here, even if they offered me a free room based on pictures totally misleading.

The only thing I liked was the breakfast it was halfway decent and the staff was nice for the most part. And the location was not the bad accept for the parking which was past horrible.

The Room's very very very small literally like a cracker jack box. you cant even use the restroom without walking right into the bed. Also this is more like a motel that, they have attempted to pass off as a Hotel. The parking is really horrible in a Alley that leads to a main street where they charged me 30 dollars to park. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL. IT IS A MOTEL WITH BETTER AMENITIES.

Rooms were clean, as advertised.

Check-in could improve. I asked staff if I could switch credit card at checkout and she said yes. Then a minute later, she asked me to pre-pay. I had to dig through my luggage to find the card I wanted to use. Not a huge deal but can improve staff training to pay more attention to what customer asks.

Great stay!

Really friendly staff, very comfy and clean bed with a great bathroom- seemed brand new— and strong shower. Room comes with waffle bathrobes, keurig coffee maker, steamer for clothes and hairdryer. Luxurious soap products. Strong AC that was easy to adjust. Really fantastic breakfast— fresh berries, delicious quiche and strong yummy drip coffee. Had a great time — Thankyou!

Great hotel for a two night visit to LA

The hotel was perfect for a two night stay. The room looked like it had been recently renovated and was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Despite being on a busy road we were not disturbed by traffic noise. Breakfast was tasty.

Parking was expensive at $30.00 per night, especially since it was not secure parking.

Comfortable and safe stay in the heart of LA

Hotel Management & Service team were very friendly and glad to help in case of any questions. Cafeteria is incredible, the menu is perfect for breakfast, avocado toast is amazing, all waiters were kindly. The location is the best to stay in LA, easy to navigate to all directions around the city. I'm absolutely enjoyed my stay in Olivia Hotel, thanks to the all members of service team for the safe stay
