This is near downtown and budget friendly compared to the Hotel Zone some 10km away. Suited me fine as its part of a 4 month trek down to Bolivia and connecting here to go to the Hotel Zone and Chicheniza is no problem at all. Super owners too.

Spent 10 days at Hotel Thelmar, this is the best deal you can get in Cancun for getting a clean and quiet ground-floor room with a big bathroom, full kitchen, good wifi, good A/C in the bedroom, in a well-maintained building in a quiet area yet just a few minutes walk to countless restaurants, stores, bank and grocery store, name it you don't need a car.
The room didn't have a t.v, I asked if I could get one before my stay and when I arrived, there was a t.v in my room.
Ask to get room no 1 or 2.
I will be coming back.
I can't think of many things that I didn't like; the expectations must be in line with the price of the room.

It was good, staffs were nice, place was clean. The only thing we did like was not been informed about the reservation of the 3rd unit kids were so scared that we came back and met the front door unlocked. It wasn't explained .Anyway, we had to leave early morning instead of the normal check out time.

It's a home stay property and basic amenities. No complaints. Mr Jesus, Who coordinated was extremely helpful. He paid the tour amount even before I occupy the room.This service touched my heart.
Nothing specific. A Mirror in the room will be a good addition.
